In the past, she also had the support of Xiao Chongwu which I’m sure affected her ability to become a general. In no cdrama does it take this long to recover fully from poison. She fell into the river and couldn’t even try to swim to the top despite not even being injured at all. To watch this drama you need a lot of suspension of belief because it doesn’t make sense someone so weak could become as high status of a general and lead troops like this.
