I mean, yeah, it's not like he's portraying someone who is upstanding in the bdsm community. Having said that, the scene was downright laughable.

The problem for me is he doesn't even come off mob boss. He's very baby-faced and not particularly imposing. He talks about "what he likes" but the bdsm scene is laughable. It somehow feels like it isn't a sexual act. Like he just wants to slap him with his toys.

I think it will be entertaining. Ton is definitely hot. But don't expect great.

I agree. That bathroom part looked like a fake kiss. What was that for? And the bedroom scene was downright comical. It didn't look like it was about s*x, it looked like a little boy having fun whipping someone. It was weird. The casting of Yoon as Kamol was way off. Yoon is a good actor, but you don't look at that face and thing Mafia Boss. Some of his subordinates look more the part.

Right. Me, too. I never would have cast him to play Kamol.

The cringey bed scene was almost at the end of the episode, lol. But, yeah, I'm going to keep watching. I just don't think Yoon seems very mafia-like, and I don't think that scene played out like it should have.

Okay, I like Yoon, but he wasn't at all who I imagined for Kamol after reading the book. Kamol was a big, imposing mafia man. And the bedroom scene...omg, I laughed. It just didn't resonate as a B**M scene to me.

Right. So I don't understand why Gong did it in the first place. He said he wanted Shou to be happy, but that's like intentionally making him sad! I hate it when I'm really liking a series and they do something like this. At least the secondary couples' spat made some sense. (Although not a lot. And that yard sale bar party...???)

Yeah, I really hate when they make the parents come between them. HATE IT. After watching episode 11, I feel even more as you said above that the writer was groping for something to tear them apart. It doesn't even sound like the dad asked for it.
