It reminded me of A Tale of a Thousand Stars. When I first watched that series, I was watching it on a clunky site and somehow missed that there was one more episode. I thought it ended when Earth's character watched Mix's character drive away. I'm glad someone quickly told me to go back and watch, lol. Anyway, it was similar but the character's reasons for being there and what they learned from it were different. I'd like to think that Fifa uses that key one day.
It ran a little slow in parts, but I really enjoyed this series. It was sort of a coming of age plot. I want to say I don't think it could've ended in any other way and felt satisfying for the character's overall growth, but this is one time I would have liked a "4 years later" or "the next summer" kind of ending. A sequel would be awesome. For a good portion of the series, I couldn't picture the characters getting together. They were both too "we're both boys!" with their actions. Which is okay and pretty realistic. I guess what I'm trying to say is, I want more.
What did Sorn whisper to Phut? It looked like he told him to just admit to doing that to Jun's neck, but Sorn himself had just taken the credit for it. Must have been a mistranslation. What I HOPED he was saying was, "Dump that b****!"
Love the way he stands on the edge of a cliff with his rival 😂(ep 4). In episode 5, it's so cringy to watch him chase after Charan, but I was glad for the scene where he told Charan the reason. Using his status as prince is the only way he can feel in control, and he desperately wants the only person he feels close to there with him. The kinky prince is such great added bit of spice to this!
After watching it again, I think Chris is Way and he came back for revenge, but.. maybe he is trying to secretly…
I also believe that Chris is Way. I hoping he is. I was thinking Tony saved him and planted him as a spy, but now I'm not sure. Could it be Way with all his memories in tact? How did he know Way's birthday by heart?
IK HOLY FUCKING CORNBALL. A part of me died when I saw the pixelated eiffel tower they were hanging upside down…
Were they supposed to be, like, bats? They didn't show vampires doing that before. I always wondered about Tong keeping his human emotions. They must have wondered if he would. But that scene on the bench--it was so obvious their feet weren't really on the ground. Why didn't they just film it somewhere real? And, I take it Nakan meant for Mark to stab him when he killed Thara?
That green screen in the fall bench scene was awful! Anyway, even though there were some truly cringe-worthy parts in this, the chemistry between Joss and Gawin made it a really good watch. I can't wait to see them in something else together.
My thoughts on episode 4. Not exactly spoilers. Daddy's taking extra pains with his hair lately. Why can't Jeff have some form-fitting jeans? I mean, that pair is flaired from the waist down. When Kento told that guy to wait there, did he really think he would?? Why did the rings look like a man and woman's set in the box? Does one of them have a really slender finger? Why do it on the floor, Pete and Chris? There was a perfectly good pool table right there! Was that weapon in the last scene a curtain rod? And what was with that hideous statue?
