this fucked me up bad, but was worth every second. i cried every episode, and the end-episode especially broke me, as well as the stuff with sangu's friend.. definitely one of the better dramas i've seen out of all hundreds i've seen <3

I know exactly what you talk about when mentioning the cartoonish second half. they dragged the whole “beach” thing and it fell through as mediocre storyline at that point for me, the characters felt predictable too, very one dimensional

Sweet home is absolutely gold, glad ure giving it a shot (although a lot of people have mentioned that it’s a lil different from the webtoon, but as long as you don’t expect every turn to be same as in the webtoon you’ll probably enjoy it more :’)

have you seen extracurricular on netflix? it's not that it's that similar, but i think it's a very interesting drama in the way that this one is. i personally view extracurricular as a masterpiece too, not your typical oveydovey kdrama (no shade to that type of drama) it brings up hardships of young teens, how south it can really go to do "underground" buisness for money/prostitution etc
