As Shen mentioned in a previous episode that he doesn't care if his woman is married or not, will he end up with Yun'er? I feel like now she's a different woman after the trials she's been through- and killing the commissioner to pay her blood debt.
I have to say that the trailer was fun but it wasn't something that I thought I would be really into- just another young fan audience type of show. However, it all changed once I made it past episode 1. I liked the pace of the story and how things got serious down the line.
You know this show is a gem. Song yi without makeup in one of the scenes shows this actress is pretty serious about her acting. Also, I appreciated the time where they were escaping to youzhou. They made it real where they were famished and dehydrated. Though when they were rescued somehow they miraculously had nice dewy skin again lol. Bai Jing Ting even showed his feet!
They showed desperation well in that I could feel their pain and it made me cry- contrary to the fun light hearted trailer.
Okay I've lost hope in this show with 3 episodes left. This show got me sucked in at the beginning trying to binge watch to catch up. It just went downhill when Wan Jia Gui came back in Qingzhou. What happened to being smart and sharp? What happened to the chemistry between any couple? I feel like I got the bait and switch. Fake Phoenix was much better with a low budget production.
