I kinda think XZ looks really good with all his Fls. Ren Min is just exceptionally cute with him. I'm so glad they chose to do a xianxia together though, makes it even more interesting

Why in Netflix this drama has 43 episode where as it's mentioned as 40 eps here in MDL
The length of episodes is different on wetv and Netflix. The episodes are longer in Wetv hence 40. While Netflix has shorter episodes hence 43. Don't worry you're not missing anything

I don't get the hate for Ren Min. She portrays crying scenes soo well, it makes you wanna cry with her. Also I think she looks cute with XZ. I see people saying this other actress would look better but is Ren Min that bad? I think she was amazing in Serenade of Peaceful joy and she's really good in this one too. Well XZ is just perfect so no one dares to comment on him lol

It does. Idk what was wrong with the desert scene in the first episode it looked so out of place with rest of the drama. Especially since the trees cgi was so well done just a few minutes after that scene

The cgi in the first episode opening scene was so awful. But somehow it only gets better and better. The more you start liking the drama, the more beautiful everything becomes.

Perhaps she fell in love at first sight when she saw him for the first time from the military tower. He treated her exceptionally good too. Since she was taught to respect him and stay away, he kinda let her be casual with him. Also there seems to be a lot of admiration on her part, for his military achievements

Yes they meet when they're quite young, but that isn't when they fall in love. When he falls for her, i.e it becomes mutual she is already 20 and in college. He's 27
