I would say so. you can just watch the special episode prequel to be up to date but it's just their compilation scenes in tharntype 2 but it'll still make sense if you start with don't say no.

I’m with you on that! There are so many scenes that they can only adapt. They on average, combine 3 chapters in one episode. So imo I feel a lot of scenes will be brushed over or missing entirely.
