this drama is soooooo good 😭💓 i love how steady the plot is moving; no unnecessary filler or BS—just straight to the point and comforting. i absolutely adore meri & wooju’s dynamic as they interact as friends who have known each other forever (spoiler: which makes the met-early-on trope more believable). don’t let the 7.9 rating deter you from watching a classic romcom

this drama is soooo good so far 🤍 in my opinion, both the pacing and build up are great for the eventual conflict that’ll occur for xu yan. we’re learning more and more about her and her reasoning for the life she has crafted through glimpses of her early days and relationships. i can’t wait to see her live unapologetically, without having to lie and endure hardships in order to protect herself and her self-made image 🤍

this really is one of the best slow burn romance dramas EVER. the last scene in the final episode of part one was such a fitting cliffhanger as it beautifully wrapped up the first and early stages of niao niao and buyi’s relationship from nn’s pov 🥹 seeing them both grow over the course of several months was both heartwarming & eye-opening. although we cannot change the circumstances in which we are born into, we can learn and develop daily with the help of those around us and the situations we are put in. GOSH i love this drama so much 😩🤍 can’t wait to start part 2 rn 🥲
