same here! Sabrina is a great actress I'm sure she will do great. As for Rong Jiu's character, I don't know if they will add him in. He was kind of important in some ways but in other ways not really. We'll see what they do I guess ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I don't think they will do that really...some viewers said it stayed close to the original novel and only some scenes were excluded. Something like that is too big a change from the novel so I'm not sure they would put in that love triangle (although I hope this is the case).

I know how you feel :/ right now I'm just re-reading certain romantic/sweet scenes of the novel that I know aren't going to make it past censorship and going on pinterest to see the bts pictures of haoyixing to help with the wait

yeah, after reading the whole novel I don't think it's too bad since Shi Mei does turn out to be quite a backstabber in the end but it will kind of be hard to watch Mo Ran crushing over her. I love Sabrina though, I saw her in My Unicorn Girl and she was great, can't wait to see how she plays Shi Mei here.

I hear someone who watched the show said she wasn't going to be present a lot during the drama (she will kind of be doing her own thing) so I don't think we have much to worry about!

In terms of the novel quite a few since Mo Ran is quite possessive over Chu Wanning. There are the ones I remember:

PLS IF YOU DIDN'T READ GO AND READ IT'S TOO GOOD TO SKIM*

Chapter 32: (Kind of brief) but Mo Ran misunderstands and thinks that Shizun is with two other men in a bath
Chapter 41: There is one moment due to an illusion that Mo Ran gets extremely jealous and possessive.
Chapter 57: When Shizun returns to his disciples and Mo Ran has a moment of freaking out that they will start to realize how good Shizun is and want to be around him more (again, ton of jealousy)
Chapter 209: When Chu Wanning and Mo Ran are kind of doing it and then Xue Meng walks in to talk to Shizun. He doesn't notice Mo Ran is there and Mo Ran gets irritated because he wants Xue Meng to leave them alone (a little jealous here ig?)
Chapter 210: Mo Ran gets jealous that Shizun is planning on making the other disciples some handkerchiefs (he wants it to only be his thing so he sews the rest for the others lol)

Oh man I really hope the drama will come out soon. It will really be such a shame if all the actors and whole team put in all that work for it to be released four years later and a bit outdated
