Usually, I don't like dramas with too much narration from the leads because what is the point of acting, if too much is is said in between the scenes? However, this made an exception. I like most of the lines said as it clarifies why an action was done and why things happened. I like the writing, I love the OST and all the 3 leads. I like the ending, only it feels unrealistic for a slice-of-life genre.
Dr. Park: What's up with your father? Why is there romance when they should be busy looking for the suspect? What's going on? He's forgotten the genre!
YJ: That can happen, can't it?
Dr.Park: What did you just say?
YJ: How can people work all the time? I think that's more unrealistic.Even a hero can fall in love. No matter how important it is to take a revenge,
there must be a moment when he's blinded with love.Chul is a human, too.
There isnt a single rational person in this drama they are all weak willed nutjobs!!
I agree! Maybe it's the reason why I'm at episode 8 and still feel detached with the leads. I understand each dilemma but I can't feel them. I regret starting without waiting for reviews.
Wow! All what I'm looking for a favorite drama is here! A bunch of comedy, superb acting, loveable characters, you'll-not-stop watching episodes, unpredictable scene at times, character development, and perfect ending! It's been a while since I loved a rom-com like this one. :D
Again! The 2nd lead syndrome strikes back! Overall, I loved the 3rd season most compared to the last 2 seasons in terms of family bonding, friendships, the slice of life narration of both the youth and the adult parts. This is the only the season that I cried so much too despite my disappointment for the main couple. I hate the writer for making the 2nd lead more sincere that it is easier for me to root for him instead of the husband. The husband was cute but the 2nd lead was more loveable. Still, objectively, it was a wonderful drama, I gave it a 9.
Loved it! For me it doesn't settle down even a bit, despite the extension. Still a satisfying ride for me throughout. Loved the characters, even the villain, the gunman theme, the enlightenment part and of course the romance part. I LOOVED the last two episodes, moreso the ending! I can't wait to download the instrumentals, so good! :D
It will be extended by 2 episodes! I hope the quality won't drop.
I watched the recent 2 eps and it's still going strong for me. I didn't expect that ending on ep. 14 that fast. At least the whole drama will not only tackle revenge as its main theme. The Teacher said, it's better to change the whole picture; with that, I hope they will also push through the emphasis on enlightenment part with the episode extension. I'm also liking the different turns of the characters.
I would've preferred that they go all the way and stick into the"loosely based part", meaning they use the original characters then made the plot consistently fictional from the original history; it would've been unique and a nice breakthrough on K dramas. However it doesn't mean that I didn't enjoy this drama. I truly loved this one and it's been so long since I watched a drama that made me wait so eagerly for the episodes, having the fact that it has 51 episodes, every episode so worth it and very good, indeed. Great drama, superb characters., ending is okay but could've been better. 9.5/10. I recommend it. :D I'm head over heels in love with Tal Tal but I'm with Team Wang Yoo throughout.

PS: The male lead looks like the older version of Seo In Guk while Jang Mi's friend in the Department Store looks like Park Shi Yeon, lol.
