I agree! This is wayyy better than Don't say no and Remember me. It's still a little early for me to tell exactly how much I'm gonna like this but so far, I'm not mad at it. I think some of the comedy isn't funny or is too cheesy but MOST BLs have that so I expect it lol.
If I am being honest, I don't think this series itself is super amazing. I like it but it could've been written and executed way better. However, I think this remains in somewhat top tier of my fav BLs from GMMtv because I see potential in Sea to be an awesome BL actor, I just don't think Jimmy was the right partner. I actually think they're both good actors(I see pretty good emotional expressions on BOTH their faces and it makes me feel some type of way) but they were literally outshined by ohm and nanon when they weren't even the main focus for 90% of the series. I give some slack since neither of them have ever acted in a role like this. When I think of amazing chemistry I think of PP and Billkin from ITSAY but that was a little more developed since they were familiar with each other for a long time and had acted together before that. Overall the acting itself tells me that they didn't even have much time to get comfortable completely. I saw a lot more comfort afterwards on safe house since they actually had more time to spend together. BL is produced and filmed very quickly. This was NOT BAD though, I quite enjoyed and I've watched it more than once now. :p

@pinnokino I was literally thinking the same thing. I'm so mad that she literally chose to leave behind a daughter for the voice of her son that was clearly not real lol. I get that people's judgements are clouded when grieving such a serious loss but daymn this was just stupid. OKAY, so I've never been obsessed with this show.. it's very far from top tier but I was able to pick out little things here and there that I liked and made me keep watching. That last episode was almost UNBEARABLE for me to watch. Every single character was annoying. There was so much abuse, so much gaslighting like holy hell. They could of done better. They should if done better, especially with some of the talents in this cast.

You, me, we... a lot of us feel the exact same way you do. I've done a lot of reviews and when I watched this back in 2020 I immediately rated it a 10 because I had never seen any BL like it. So raw, emotional, relatable, and just plain beautiful. I still to this day in 2023 watch a lot of BL, I've watched BL anime and read BL Manga for maybe 8ish years and I've been watching BL drama for about 4. I've seen over 200 and I have yet to find one that is on par with this one. No one has come close to touching this one for me haha. So reading your comment makes me feel really good because it brings me back to the exact same emotions I felt after the first time I watched and let me tell you, those were some GOOD emotions. I'm still genuinely shocked that after 3 years, this drama is not rated higher on here.

They aren't idols but Do Won was a trainee under JYP at some point so he's clearly had the strive to be an idol. There's no way of really telling but I'm not expecting too much from their kiss scene when it happens, if it does.
