We still don’t have an official release date for Fated Hearts, but with the way the Chinese fandom is moving and all the preparations happening, it’s probably getting really close. I remember they did the same kind of promo activity before the release of White Olive Tree too — like boosting popularity indexes and encouraging pre-bookings.

Lately, he’s been offered some really good scripts, but that company keeps throwing away his chances they reject all of them. I really don’t know why, but I just wish he’d act in a historical drama with a powerful script, not those cliché stories where it’s only his performance that carries the whole series while everyone else just takes advantage of him 🥺.
sigh What can I say... In the end, all I can do is support my baby and believe in him. He always gives his best. But with his acting skills and popularity, he deserves high-quality scripts like White Olive Tree, Dark Night and Dawn, Fated Hearts, Chasing Dreams, and Light the Night. I personally prefer those kinds of scripts compared to this new one, which feels pretty cliché.
But hey, that’s just my opinion. Maybe once filming starts and I see the costumes and makeup, I’ll totally fall for the drama. Who knows I’m such a moody person 😂.
Putting all the recent drama aside… the best possible news for me is the airing of Fated Hearts. I’m honestly so happy it might be released in August. I checked the fan clubs, and they’re all getting ready for the broadcast. Honestly, I have a lump in my throat because I really love my little Yuan in historical roles, and I have such a strong feeling about this one. Something tells me this drama is going to blow up so much that it’ll spark tons of rumors about more epic historical projects for my boy.
And on the other hand, I really hope he ends the year by filming that rumored series directed by Guo Jingming. The script is amazing, and his rumored partner, Dai Luwa, is such a sweet and talented actress. I’m scared to get excited in case it doesn’t get confirmed. But I really, really want this to happen. 🥺

Every time a new drama comes out, everyone starts saying "Jae-won is obsessed with top billing," but over the years it's become clear that it's actually the fandoms and female actors who are obsessed with billing. No one wants to admit that Jae-won doesn’t care about being listed first, unlike some people... What’s the point of being top-billed if your acting isn’t even interesting?
Thankfully, Jae-won doesn’t care about billing—his last two dramas, he wasn’t even first-billed. What matters to him is taking on new roles and growing in his work. I actually hope this new drama gets dropped or flops, so others don’t use Jae-won as a stepping stone. And if he *does* accept the role, it’ll be obvious the drama succeeds because of the male lead, not the female ones. But of course, fans of those female actors can’t stand that and will keep running their mouths.💔
