I read an article somewhere that this drama got bad reviews because the novel plagiarized a real life e-sport…
The author basically "stole" actual E-sports players' IDs and some real life events and didn't "credit" the hard work that they put into and some other factors. Also in Episode 1, Jian Yang said that if Tong Yao told him sooner that he was going to ZGDX, he would have given them free wins. So netizens were mad because of the encouragement of "fake playing". Something like that.
Like on Weibo they will be commenting:"Unlucky" (晦气)"Stealing their IDS, their life, their hard work"Honestly…
Well according to them, the actors and actresses are not innocent as they have agreed to act in this project. Crazy. It was probably the manager's decision sometimes.
OK. the drama shows the leads who are in the same profession falling in love with each other. what we can expect…
Like on Weibo they will be commenting: "Unlucky" (晦气) "Stealing their IDS, their life, their hard work" Honestly they are just commenting the same thing so :)

I know right? Chinese netizens need to know that this is a rom-com and stop hating on it just because the author plagiarized and doesn't show their hard work (actually the whole team works hard) and somehow disrespects the E-sports players???? I really pity the cast because they put in their effort to make the project possible. And on Douban, there are many biased comments and I just hope that those netizens will just shut up.
I really hope that Youku can stop buying hot searches. Its like an opportunity for haters to create toxic posts. I would prefer it to not go on hot search since there are already many hate comments. This is a great drama, but why the novel? The author shouldn’t have plagiarised and Youku should have expected this to happen. Nevertheless, I hope that the hate comments will subside and no more hate goes to the actors/actresses and the drama in general.
I started watching the show but I kept feeling that it is dubbed, am I wrong?I hope I'm wrong because I hate dubbed…
Dubbing is normal in C-dramaland. It’s either their accent isn’t the standard Mandarin or they just don’t want to waste money and hire a voice actress/actor. If the actress/actor is dubbing themselves, they will take longer than a professional.
wut the da hell is with ppl? just let this drama air peacefully
That would be quite impossible, if you think about it. From writing the script and knowing about the plagiarism issue, they would have expected this to happen. Let's just hope that the drama somehow redeems itself and there will be not as many hate comments from E-sports fans.
They were also talking about how Jian Yang was going to play fake matches. Because he told Tong Yao that if she told him sooner that she was in the opposite team, he would give her team free wins. This is deemed as disrespectful towards E-sports players I guess.
whaaaat why tho?? i think the drama is amazing. how can i check the views and likes and dislikes on the net?
Okay so it finally reached 10 million, and it decreased to 55%. Honestly at this point, its probably going to reach like 30-40% because of Chinese netizens and E-sports fans.
Okay, so I am alright with the first few episodes. It's pretty obvious that the game that they are playing is…
Update, if you go on their official Weibo account, there are many hate comments. Honestly, why did they have to make a drama based on the novel? They could have chosen another one. I like the drama but why did they make such a naive move? Whoever becomes part of the cast will get heaps of hate comments and get scolded by netizens. What's making it worse is that the account or probably Youku are buying hot searches. Like why? I just hope that they stop writing hate comments and the numbers will rise. If the author did not plagiarize, this drama would receive decent comments.
Okay, so I am alright with the first few episodes. It's pretty obvious that the game that they are playing is supposed to be a mobile game because the joystick is really conspicuous but I don't mind because I don't play games. I checked the number of plays in total (includes all episodes (trailers and stuff) on Tencent and its only 8 million. If you watch Chinese dramas, it isn't a lot honestly. I hope that they can reach 100 million soon. And also there is like a ratio very similar to YouTube's like-dislike ratio and it shows that 56% likes it and 44% dislikes it. I really hope that this drama can also have more numbers of reposting on Weibo because it's really less. Let's just hope that more people can like and watch this drama, because it's a little sad.
