Unfortunately, I haven been able to end many dramas with yang zi but the 2 seasons of ode to joy, that's it. Same with luo yun xi's dramas, dunno why.

Just hands down to the first ML, his actin made me keep watchin the show. Actin was fine in general.
Toxic love is not love, so for me the love story of jing and yao was a whole tribulation but genuine and profound. I mean everybody witnessed their love. Skinny was the first one to see it.

As for the main story, it was quite interesting, I just wish there were wars, they're deities with powers and ambition to conquer the world. 40 epis is enough to display them, i needed badly those wars, so those fighting scenes, alas....😔
