In the novel I got a feeling grandpa was inlove with little Dojoonie from a very beginning and the relationship between them wasn’t as intense as in tv show. & yes novel translation was hella bad I had headaches while trying to read it couple years ago 😁

Sure. But the novel got slight differences. Grandpa gets a successful surgery and dies couple years later of old age. Dojoon gets the Conglomerate stocks. Grandpa tells him on the deathbed that it’s grandma behind car crash. He later finds out she had a whole gallery overseas that she used for money laundering. (I think she was painting them herself so most of art was fake I don’t remember correctly) He buys that gallery and when she travels overseas accuses her for the slush funds and she never returns. Marries that prosecutor girl (but there was no romance😂 she literally appears like 3-4 times lol). Basically he get the company and makes it bigger still having his miracle investment. He visits the place he was murdered and sort of accepts fully that this is his new life and it ends like that. Honestly it was hella boring apart of I wrote above cuz it was pretty much stocks, papers, car companies and stuff in between he was trying to acquire.

I’m glad they changed grandpa character and other things. Drama is way more spicy 🌶️ I was so bored reading the novel cuz it felt like stocks market is the MC😂

yup I thought the same thing, but from the drama perspective (not webtoon/novel) he was the one interested in her long before they should’ve officially met and kept buggin her unexpectedly everywhere she worked 😂 he literally builds up tension between them so she falls for him.

If I remember it right 8 ep - grandma was the one talking to grandpa how she raised Dojuns dad just like her other sons with same food/closes and stuff so it won’t look bad for his reputation and bcz now grandpa is not giving him anything she doesn’t want people to say she hates chairman’s bastard son or smth like that.
In the drama they showed a lot of hints that the grandma did it, so I guess they r going with the plot of the novel.
