Because they made it a point to show us that even though those henchmen of Choi Myung Hee helped Vincenzo, they were still bad people. And they got the justice they deserved. We won't get a happy ending. We shouldn't. It's only fair that way.
Ahh, my heart is breaking. I'm sure he didn't die now, in Ep 17. Maybe they both came up with a plan. But I have a gut feeling this will be a tragic ending, unless the writers decide to change it. I hope they don't, however harsh it may be.
