Right now if i see eiw's character i don't think he would confess to him however i also think that cake might get a hint of it sonner like before leaving and also the fact that they are too dependent on each other and don't have a personal space will be a big thing later cause this might completely change and them realising that the other person doesn't need them anymore might create jealousy.
