Any reason is valid to drop any series. Commenting about the age gap here (which isn't even visible) everyday doesn't change anything. We have already seen everything that can be said. The series is still airing, the age gap remains, some will still enjoy the series, some won't.

If you say something is realistic that means it does happen. So SK women keep getting hit if you say it's realistic. That was my original comment. So, I still feel sorry for them. People get abused basically in every k-drama, but scenes don't always go this far. That's why I said obviously. This is not my first k-drama. If you comment here, you might get replies 🤷🏼‍♀️

MDL is a funny place. I enjoyed the 2nd episode and actually I'm not thinking or even noticing any age gaps. I was just reminded of it only because of these repetitive comments here.

You were the one excusing her mom's behaviour and said it was realistic. It being exaggerested you told someone else, not me. And obviously it is. It went just too far, which made it unfunny. Yoi don't need to worry about whay dramas I watch or not.

Oh wow, i would have never noticed, since nobody has mentioned this before here. Everybody is just praising the series and without your comment we would still be clueless. You should repeat this every day, so that everyone will read this more than once.

If action is the same, it's not credible to sometimes call it violence and sometimes "specific practices" or respect. If you beat someone it really doesn't matter why you're doing it. Is rape sometimes acceptable depending the intent?

We do have a different view in what is violence. Hitting someone and running after that person wanting to hit more, is violence to me. Apparently not to you. In this case looks like it's not casual, but mom's habit to deal with difficult situations. Usually people that has been victims of violence support those actions and repeat them to the next generations. They learn it from their parents and pass on to their kids.

Well, Trainee has a lot of annoying characters. I end up skipping their scenes. This one doesn't have any annoying support characters, so no skipping necessary.

I was talking abt the violance part. It's normal for her or any mom to worry or be disappointed for their daughter's or son's decisions. The thing is if the parents have good methods or not. Beating someone is not a good way. If you end up doing it, then you lack in communication skills and parenting.

This is not my first k-drama. However this time it went too far and I felt uncomfortable. Also it's sick to beat your adult offspring, because you want her to be succesful. Funny how hitting could make anyone succesful 😂 The 2nd episode was even worse.

I have watched many k-dramas. This time the violence was somehow different and too much. Wasn't even funny. I did watch the 2nd episode just now and her mom was even worse. Throwing around her suitcase. She should have left the house. We'll see what happens, but any case, this is not my fave drama. I will keep watching if it gets better.
