Good for you if you liked this. I was bored. I have liked other dramas than Bong Soon too (obviously) and mentioned that one only because both are popular older dramas that I decided to watch only now one after the other. I could not have compared any other dramas in this case.

Nooo, when women have been treated badly they have been treated so also by MLs, who are later heros. Women have often been embarrassed in front of everyone and been so weak. Toxicity has excisted and will exist. If by males, why not females. Women don't need to be and are not always soft and good while men are bad. That's real life, so why not in dramas too. You don't need to like this, but there are people like me who appreciate the variety this drama presents.

Bong Soon was not very smart, which is how females have been described, usually kind hearted and simple. Luckily we're not there anymore that much. Like I said, the mom is terrible, but that is the point/plot and she regrets and changes. And that has been and is what happens in dramas, characters grow. MLs have mostly been confident, cold and mean to FLs at first until they change. If men are wrongly treated here, and they are, it just shows how wrongly women have been treated all these years and we had to swallow it. So if now men are mistreated in this particuliar drama, is it suddenly so unbearable? I guess it is for some. I enjoy the change and variety. However this doesn't mean I wish to see dramas like this from now on.

Usually it's been the most important thing in life to find a husband and build a family for so many women in dramas. Nothing else like work for example has mattered more. So it's refreshing to see the roles upside down. And the mom has been terrible and is paying the prize now. She's learning a quite important lesson at the moment. So I guess she'll change, like so many other charachters in dramas.

I never have SML syndromes so this doesn't bother me. He would have to do a complete turnaround and start chasing villains himself for Nam Soon to like him. But let's see, like you said.

I didn't like the fat jokes either at first, but then I realized this will be the lesson for the mom. That's one of the serious sides of this drama.

I don't take this series seriously and it's been hilarious seeing women strong and a man crying and hughing his dad's feet. If it was a woman crying at hospital nobody thought anything. That's how women have always been shown. So it's been very entertaining seeing the opposite. Rough men have been very normal amd gotten boring, so why not something different for a change?

I liked this at first, then I didn't like this, but now I like it again. Really brave intimate scenes and natural kissing. (I might watch the scene again.) Chimon should watch this and some commenters on YouTube too, who thought Chimon was a good kisser.

I don't read novels so I don't have an opinion abt that.

I'm on ep 11. Something came to my mind that worries me. Fl has a very awful sister and now I'm afraid she gets to marry the nice 2nd lead. Do I have a reason to worry? I don't think I can deal with that. She doesn't deserve him.
