In my opinion, bl needs always sufficiently romance because it's literally boy LOVE. Otherwise it's not bl. (LGBTQ+ dramas are again a different thing.) Jack & Joker didn't have enough romance. Those scenes were rare, but ofc it's still bl. I was however disappointed. Sufficient can mean different things to people it seems, but I need them both equally.
GMMTV always has toned down series. Better not expect something else. I still think there was a plot though and the guys were supposed to be those macho men, so naturally sex was a part of the story. If not, then the series would have been even more juvenile. Dunk is not a great actor, but at least he was a bit better than before in THK. Khaotung was the best of them all as expected.
