No prob, that's nothing major and I don't mind spoilers.

Hard to know if they don't say anything. But can't think of anything else, except doing it for the actors, protecting them etc.

This was surprisingly nice 👍

Ok, haven't seen that one yet. It explains everything like I suspected.

I'm not a pro by all means. But what I do know is that China cannot affect for example what Viki or GaGa is streaming. So why would they feel the need to censor anything for them? China cannot boss around outside of China. Also higher-ups in China will find any bls anyways with or without attention. No bl allowed. Nc scenes or not. That's why I don't get the need to cut scenes. UNLESS they are afraid China will blacklist actors if authorities see such scenes. That they can do, even if not force cutting scenes internationally.

That is what I suspected also, but it was kept so vague.

Thank you 🙏

Does YouTube have the same version as IQIYI?

Maybe, but having not much dating on the show, feels wrong to save it later. Although, it's not even much 😂 So whatever 🤷🏼‍♀️

It's a weird choice to leave it unclear. I don't see what's stopping them to be clear abt it 🤷🏼‍♀️

I understand they can watch it if they want. Still the series can't be banned internationally.

😂

Too much was left

Sometimes production teams have weird choices. Sometimes it feels they don't even know what viewers want.

Glad to meet some others who don't cry. So many comments about crying everywhere and about every drama possible.

I never cry while watching dramas. Why would anyone cry while knowing it's fiction?

How can the amount of nc scenes affect airing? China doesn't allow even same sex kissing scenes, so it doesn’t make any difference if there's 0 or 10 nc scenes. Any kind of bl is not allowed. Also if this is sold to some international companies, how could China make them censor anything?

I do wonder how China can boss around international companies.

Since this is not streamed in China, why do they care about those kind of events? We international viewers don't know about them, or care. Also they can't censor this anymore anyways.

So what was the reason?
