I really doubt that the head nurse is MY's mom.. When her dad killed her mother, she lost a lot of blood and he through her in the lake.. So it is awkward that she will survive all this.. Unless his illness made him imagine that he killed her.

I agree with you, i don't think ST and M are siblings, but i don't remember that the young MY had her hair cut.. and the possibility that ST's mother is the nanny or nurse of MY is so high.
