Honestly what blew me away more than the romance in this drama is the friendship between F4. Daoming Si was immature and acted out of line often both when F4 were kids, and in college. Yet the other members of F4 would do their best to correct him and help him grow as a person. Even when members of F4 argued, most of the time it was minor and they ended up apologizing and making up. And Ximen and Meizuo really did the best they could to help sort out the relationship struggles with Huaze Lei and Daoming Si lmao. Anyways, I really like F4’s solid and supportive friendship. It shows that being a good friend isn’t always just blindly validating your friends feelings and opinions, but sometimes it is helping them to grow.
I made this mistake! Although they are completely different, I can't help but compare them to each other. In some…
Ikr !! I want to find other Wuxia dramas to watch after The Untamed to fill the void but so far I can’t find anything and all I can do is rewatch and rewatch The Untamed and read the novel and manhua and anime but I still feel so empty ;-;
Thank you ! Do u think it’s worth it to read the not great translation in order to read the rest of the story ? Or do u think I should wait until it is translated well in the ongoing translation?
Great drama! But im quite confused with ep. 1, what really happened to Wen Wu Xian after 16 years? And he become…
Wei Wuxian died and then 16 years later, the illegitimate son of Jin GuangShan, Mo Xuanyu, resurrected Wei Wuxian by sacrificing his own body. Then, Mo Xuanyu died and Wei Wuxian resurrected IN Mo Xuanyu’s body. This is because Mo Xuanyu was often regarded as crazy and people made fun of him. He always had a fascination with demonic cultivation and looked up to Wei Wuxian. Therefore, he resurrected Wei Wuxian to get revenge for him. That explains the cuts on his arms when Wei Wuxian comes into Mo Xuanyu’s body. As each person that Mo Xuanyu wanted revenge against dies, another cut disappears.
I honestly don’t remember if it’s a happy ending or not bc it’s been so long since I watched it but I think it is. Now on to if it’s worth watching. A lot of people don’t seem to like this drama, but I think it was okay. It’s just pretty slow paced and doesn’t have much excitement as normal dramas do. I’d say it’s more like how real life is and something crazy isn’t happening in every episode. However a lot of people get bored from that but I think it was an okey drama and I don’t regret watching it :)
