I wish i could make a ranting video like Avenuex's.....do not waste your time!
I actually watched all 40 episodes without skipping any scene, i wish i had...What i liked:
-The main lead couple acting was great, i wish Gong Jun had choosen a better project though, he hasn't been in anything really important since WOH...i hope he gets some nice and interesting projects in the future...
- The fighting spirit of the female lead (That actually kept me watching).
What i disliked (i will just list some, because if i have to write down everything there wouldn't be enough space):
- The second female lead guyssss, like no, she is a big no! if you ever meet someone like this in real life, please get away from that person, you deserve better, and so her love story was kind of disturbing to watch. And it is the main reason why i am rating this drama this low, We are in 2023 and for god sake, this type of romance (if we can even call it romance....) shouldn't exist anymore, please writers , please!!!
- Since the main leads are very intelligent people, so many things could have been done better, like intelligent people do in real life, but of course we are watching a C-drama, it wouldn't be one whithout all those cliches, right?
This drama could have been shorter, there were so many uninteresting scenes that could have been cut out. ...
Till episode 30, i was actually going for an 8/10, but the last part really had me disgusted. I will not recommend this drama, it's nothing new, full of cliches and nonsenses (yes i can't get over the mess of the second lead couple) for me it's a 6/10.

Give it back to me ..........i mean the time i spent watching this drama!
Soooo! this drama.... i'm usually the type to drop a drama if not interested after the first 2 episodes at most. But since people kept saying that it would get better and i was also curious about the story, i kept watching.... BAD IDEA, REALLY BAD IDEA..The first 15 episodes were boring as hell, i will also say this is the first time and also the last time i take a WHOLE MONTH to watch a drama, knowing that i was binge-watching it.
The second part was better, but the PLOT-HOLES guysssss! We people are not stupid, we actually have brains and think a lot, so many things didn't make sense, and the cliff hanger at the end...., like i could tell something like this would happen, and they should have able to see this coming, since there were a lot of scheming from both sides, i will stop ranting here....
The main couple was kind of mehh, i will not really remember their CP. But the second lead's couple actually had some nice chemistry, i hoped they actually got a nice closure, but again, if the main couple didn't get it, i guess it would have been too much to hope for the second lead's couple to have one lol.
Do i recommend this drama? ...No i don't! because weighting the pros and cons, i think i could have watched a better drama, or even more dramas, and now i can't get back the time i spent watching it. For me a 6.5/10, and i'm being nice lol

This drama is not bad, i will even say for a low budget drama it is really good, i liked the actors and actress and the chemistry they had, the cinematography was not bad either, the way they shoot it was interesting, good job!i really hope they get a bigger budget for they really deserve it.
So! you are now asking yourself why i am rating it a 7/10 if i liked the acting that much, well it's because of the story line, i'm sorry no matter how much i liked the couples and their chemistry, i still can't wrap my finger about how they managed to get that happy ending , not that i didn't like it (i am a sucker for stories with happy endings), i just can't understand it. It seems like some pieces of the puzzle are missing .
overall it's a 7/10 for me , i would not rewatch it and i am not sure about recommending it to anyone; but if you are in for a romantic story whitout much logic to it then this drama may be a good watch for you.

This drama is just beautiful, my fav of 2022! the acting, the plot...i really enjoyed the crown prince and princess love story.i was really mesmerized by the actor playing the crown prince , i will look forward his next projects! as always there were veteran actors who never miss ( queen, king's mother, and king are well established actors whom movies/dramas i enjoyed)a, the female lead ( kim hye soo) is on fire this year, after juvenile justice, here she comes with another hit drama, recommend it 100%!

What a waste of my precious time !
So where do i start ?Up to episodes 16/17 i was really enjoying this drama puting aside all the incrongruities in the story, i was focusing on the main plot.
But damn, WE DESERVE A MAKE LEAD THAT CAN ACT! Throughout the whole drama the guy had the same facial expressions like come on!
I think at this point of the drama, there needed to be some clear love interest but nothing..the drama was getting into the finale whithout any development in the main leads story. And of course the plot ....like director please focus! ahhahhahh
I will leave it there, i can say i am very dissapointed with this drama because i was actually enjoying it up to a certain point.
Will 2025 give me butterflies?
I do not recommend, a 6.5/10 for me.

Low on expectations!
First i had to paused and then get back to finish this drama.The multi-leads couple is something that can be tricky, but if well executed can be a frank success.
I stopped watching it the first time because i couldn't understand the 3rd sister and her love interest and till now i don't get how they resolved their conflicts. Like when they got married i was looking for a clear explanation of what happened but nada...
Then the 5th sister, jeez what a brat, didn't like her one bit. You know sometimes people grow up, peolple learn, yet she didn't and the drama make it seemed like it was normal. I really disliked her character.
The only love story here that i liked was the 4th 'sister , that was a beautiful one.
And yes too much fillers, like people were use for the purpose of making the couples come together. Like in 2025 are we still having this kind of script writers!?? come on! (exple 3 sister mother in law, after the wedding she dissapeared, would have interesting to see the interactions after the wedding with the daugther-in -law, but yes we are asking too much)
I manage to finish it, but i wouldn't recommend, 7/10 for me.

A classic rom-com drama, not bad but non that remarkable either....
If you are up for a feel-good drama, with good looking people falling in love , this drama is for you!I was actually looking for this type of drama afer watching "revenant" lol, i guess i needed some romance to heal my heart lol.
The story: i get that it is a light - hearted drama, but i kind of wanted the male lead to be less lazy in the first 10 episodes, i wish the writers gave his character more dept. Some parts of the script didn't make sense though, it felt less realistic .And some important society issues were actually brushed out with comedy ; laughing it out wasn't on my point of view the best way to handle it.
Acting department: i liked Yoona in this one! i will definitely check out her other dramas.
i wouldn't rewatch this drama , and overall it wasn't that bad, i didn't skip or fast-forwarded any scene, so i will give it an 8/10.

Good Watch!
First of all the story is really engaging, the writer did a good job.Then, THE ACTING guys!! the whole cast did a fantastic job, especially the main leads (PSK and HSH) and yes Han Soo Hee can act, i really like her acting, in all the dramas she has been she always delivers. I am looking forward her next projects and i wish her love and happiness in her private life, she derserves it.
Looking forward the second season, i hope it is already in the making, i can't wait1.

What a ride!
This drama is based on historical facts, so i was not totally new to the story (aka six flying dragons..).But the acting guys!! That is mainly what makes me rate this drama this high, considering that i would not rewatch it (usually the higher i rate a drama the higher is the rewatch value).
The bromance was epic, but morever JANG HYUK acting, he was really born to be an actor, sooo talented. I hated his character but i could never deny how much CHARISMA he brought to this controversial character.
This drama was Great, the ending was also realistic. Let's all have a meaningful and good life, is being powerful that important ? In actual facts Yi Bang Won died at 54, was it really worth it?

A Gem, don't miss it!
The story was so engaging , it was a little bit classic towards the end but nevertheless enjoyable.The characters: every character was well developed, so you kind of understand where they come from and maybe from there you can somehow understand their behaviour, it was nice to watch them have a proper closure, there were not just mere fillers.
THE MAIN LEADS GUYSSSS!!! THE CHEMISTRY WAS WAOUH! THE KISSES !!!! like it has been two years or maybe three that i watched a drama that gave me so much butterflies.
For me it's a 9,5/10, and yes i did rewatch some episodes . I really enjoyed the process of them falling for each other, i liked the chemistry, the way they were flirting, it was just beautiful. If you are looking for a realistic drama, with a mature and beautiful romance this drama is for you. I recommend it!

Do not miss this gem!
This drama is not your typical drama. When it comes to topics this important in the society, i'm always cautious about it. But since i liked the first season i guessed i would like the second one and i wasn't wrong.Each and every episode was important, a powerful story, a sad story , much more because part of it is true, real people in real life have actually suffered these abuses and that was the scary part.
The acting was fantastic, i mean Jung Hae In was phenomenal in this, i have loved him since his drama "one spring night" and it was an absolute delight to watch him in this one too, it's always nice to watch a versatile actor. Son Suk Ku i noticed him in " my liberation notes" and i was impressed! i am looking forward his next projects. Unfortunately i can't write about each and every actor, they all did a very good job.
If you are looking for a down to earth drama, with realistic acting, and heartbreaking stories and maybe a ray of hope, this drama is for you.! A 9/10 for me, i recommend it.

i expected more.....
Overall the drama was enjoyable, i definitely expected more, the acting was great though! The plot could have been better. And more so, i am tired of the "all about kindness/ feeling guilty " mentality , i am full of it, it seems like a deja vu for me, writers need to stop using this trope, really! Hae yi really got on my nerves on the last 2 episodes for the likely the same reason. I really enjoyed Sung jae and Hae yi relationship, they were my fav! it wasn't That drama for me, wouldn't rewatch it, but it's not a bad one, just that i was expecting more.Was this review helpful to you?
Not The good chinese drama i have been looking for since 2024 started..
I must say the 40 episode length drama format was, is and will never be my type (okay never say never but damn i always force myself to finish the drama) ....So many things didn't make sense, we had really little of the romance (i wasn't there for the political plot or whatever since i knew from avenueX's review that to enjoy this drama you had to overlook that part and that is exactly what i did), and the messy ending..... I should listen more to avenueX in the future lol .After watching all 40 episodes, i kind of regret watching this show, although i enjoyed the first 20 episodes, i think it could have been better, we the audience deserved better .
That said, i think this drama is overrated for me 7,5/10, 8/10 will be too much since i saw better dramas get a lower score here, so yes definitely 7,5/10!

Could have been better!
So, the story was kind of cute, i expected way moore from this drama, i only managed to finish it, because i fast-forwarded, and it's actually the first time i do so, ..I don't recommend, there are so many beautiful drama out there, don't waste your time on this one.
The acting was so so, so many plot-holes,...
I mainly finished it because i was interested in the romance, but even that was poorly executed.
The female lead always had the same expressions like smirking or whatever (some crying scenes were soo cringe..), and the male lead was acting like a wooden piece lol, zero emotions. What a waste of time, geez!
i hope the rating will go down, it really doesn't deserve.

Beautiful drama !
The storyline was so beautiful, each and every episode had a powerful message to convey.Let's talk about the ost, there were so beautiful, i couldn't get it out of my head.
Every time i listened to the song "hello" i actually cried. And i did so at the end of each episode.
I will close this really short review with a quote from the last episode :
“No matter how old you get, there is always something to learn. If you think of it as a regret, then that’s the end of it but when you think of it as a lesson learned it brings a new begining".
I highly recommend it! Always love and care for your dear ones, do not take their love for granted, and live without regrets.
