I knew feng qianli would die. from the appearance and how he acts/talks when they were discussing abt who should go yada yada doo, he js acted like he would die saving them. this is called a xianxia show. i think netflix does it based off the actors popularity or their connections with netflix. if you want a "regular" period drama, then don't go to netflix to watch it. netflix doesn't really show "regular" period dramas rn.
