She’s the one actress whose performances always feel completely natural—no awkward expressions, just pure, effortless acting. There’s something real and rare about her that you don’t see often!
This drama breaks free from typical romance clichés, offering a story that’s both heartfelt and refreshingly realistic. Every issue is handled with a sense of maturity that’s rare in the genre especially in this plot. I found the female lead especially compelling—she thoughtfully considers the male lead’s decisions rather than just agreeing, revealing her depth and growth over time. The male lead, meanwhile, exudes warmth from the start, always showing kindness and respect toward her. Together, they’re the perfect balance, each genuinely take care eacht other. Their chemistry? Absolutely sooo goood.
I'm a big fan of the manga and to be sincere I haaaate the casting for Morita and Kurosawa. I love their characters…
It's completely understandable that you have a deep connection to the manga and high expectations for its adaptation, especially when it comes to characters like Morita and Kurosawa, whom you hold in maybe such high regard. It's disappointing when the portrayal of characters you love doesn't live up to your expectations, whether it's due to casting, chemistry, or the overall execution of the adaptation. However, entertainment is meant to be enjoyable and fulfilling—it's something we engage with for pleasure, not out of obligation. If watching this particular adaptation feels more like a chore or a source of frustration, it’s worth asking yourself whether continuing is really worthwhile.
I think not every interpretation will resonate with every viewer, and that's okay. You don't owe it to yourself to continue watching something that doesn't bring you enjoyment or satisfaction, just because of your love for the original source material. Sometimes, it's better to step away (drop it) from something that no longer meets your expectations and instead focus on other things that do.
Ultimately, if the actors and their performances aren’t clicking for you and you're not enjoying the direction this adaptation has taken, don't feel compelled to continue watching out of a sense of loyalty or obligation. You’ve already given it a fair shot, and your opinions are valid. There's no need to force yourself through something that’s clearly not delivering what you hoped for. It's okay to let go, knowing that the original manga, which you cherish, still exists in its pure form.

Im looking for movie recommendations similar to this one. I really appreciate romance that avoids clichés and feels mature. The way the characters acted and resolved their problems was impressive. Additionally, the way they expressed their feelings for each other was beautifully done,
"I like you, i love you so much, on deepest my heard", its normal and was meh, nothing special
This was truly the best Chinese movie I’ve ever seen. Every element was flawless—the story, acting, music, and plot all came together perfectly. Worth to watch!!!
I agree with you. So far, in J-dramas, trying to make characters' expressions and voices exactly like they are in anime doesn’t feel quite right. I dropped this drama after only two episodes because it really struck me as a bit weird and forced. It often comes across as unnatural. I think it's really difficult to find an actress who can perfectly match an anime character, because anime tends to exaggerate emotions and behaviors in ways that don’t always translate well into live-action.
Instead of trying to make the characters identical to their anime counterparts, I would prefer to see them adapted in a more realistic way that fits the live-action format better.
I’m not sure about short dramas anymore. My previous experiences have been disappointing due to low budgets, weak storylines, inconsistent narratives, abrupt transitions, poor costumes, and lackluster makeup. Additionally, some actors/actress performances felt stiff and unconvincing. While I can acknowledge that the poster design was impressive, it unfortunately did not reflect the quality of the actual story. I’d rather watch two full movies instead. Thank you for the article; I tried watching the first episodes of some of them, but unfortunately, nothing piqued my interest.
I’m sharing this based on my personal opinion. Peace."

"Its nice to see you too, Why can you just happy to see me? - I come back for you"
"The scarf, the wings, you and the future... I want them all"

Cuz Yayoi said she wanted to be only with Natsu, that's why they broke up.
