Two of my favorite male leads in the same drama. Omg yas. I really liked their costume dramas, Love Like the Galaxy and Back From the Brink. Recommending everyone to watch!
Just started and the first episode was so good. I could feel the struggles the main characters are going through, and their spoken thoughts were well scripted. Looking forward to catching up on the weekend! ♥️
I really like this drama... watching it again for the second time just because the theme and story was good. I liked how both the leads started out weak but they support each other along the way and became a pretty strong couple. ♥️☺️
I'm re-watching this... acting was on point. I love the main leads so much. Luo Yunxi was perfect for this role... the looks and everything. His chemistry with Bailu was off the charts!
I really like how this drama is going. Full of humor and great character development. Lots of good points and lessons about relationships on every episode. Really like Yang Hua's character as well. Can't wait to see more! :)
Wow I love the dialogues and interactions of the characters in this drama so much. The romance is gradual but it's at a good pace. Can't wait for Part 2 to start! ❤️

I was really looking forward to the drama since I like the two leads, but based on the first few episodes I feel like the set, the lighting, and CGI work looks inferior to Ancient Love Poetry and Love & Redemption.
It's dragging on a bit. I'm not hooked on the story yet either. I also dislike the clumsy ditzy type of FL as well. I also felt Meng Zi Yi doesn't really fit the role of FL's older sister (based on appearance and facial expressions). I mean this is all just first impression haha, I guess I'll stick around a bit longer and see if it gets better.
Edit: Ok now I'm past episode 5 and it's starting to pick up!
I didn't read the book, but wasn't sure if Lin Zhi Xiao is supposed to be that immature... It seems like Gu Wei always yields to her. On episode 12, but we'll see how she turns out later...
