Ep13* I actually felt bad, well... Okay, I don't know what I felt but seeing Dang Ki Se cry over Seung Nyang didn't…
I know he's still evil and it was def. pity for himself, I totally agree. But that weakness was because of SN. She caused him to be weak. (Well, he let her become a weakness)
He killed her mother in cold blood, along with however many other women who weren't able to escape him. He's def. a bad guy, totally not defending him. I just love the actor so it's hard for me to dislike him as much as I should. In the beginning he was scum but like a lot of the characters in the Yuan Dynasty, I see him as a big kid. They're all just doing what they've been raised to do and when they get out of line, a parent comes, scolds them, and they're back to their old selves. Half of them don't even know how to feel and that makes me pity some of them.
And I def. agree about the length and quality! :) It really does make you see more of the depth of the characters.
Ep13* I actually felt bad, well... Okay, I don't know what I felt but seeing Dang Ki Se cry over Seung Nyang didn't sit well with me. He's a cold blooded killer and to see him crumble over a girl... >_> I felt a teensy tiny itty bitty piece of sympathy... Kind of... Maybe... I'm gonna chalk it up to only really seeing his evil side in the beginning. He hasn't seemed all that threatening lately... Just another pawn for his father to order around.
GG members continue to impress me with their acting chops. After that preview I can't wait to see the first ep. And I'm totally rooting for LBS and Yoona. I don't care about the age gap. :d
Who do you ship for? Sungnyang with King Chunghye or the Yuan Emperor? Who do you think Sungnyang will love at…
@kestrel I know, >_< I don't want to see that in the drama either. That's why I hope they keep her patriotism/honor. Long story short, (from wiki) SN's son ascended the throne and SN became Empress Dowager, but soon after she went missing. No one knows if she died or what happened to her.
I was wondering about Batolu too from the moment they first showed her face. I'm curious if something could happen there w/ the King or if she would remind him of SN and confuse him :P Her characters' meaning is a mystery to me. >_<
AND I agree with everything @chocobana said, especially in (part2). :)

I'm Team King Chunghye... BUT, I can't help but love SN's interactions with the Emperor. I think it has to do with the underlying tone of the drama; everyone's lives are stake and they provide a rom-com relief from the angst. His immaturity can be irksome but the laughs I get outweigh it.
The King and SN are so earnest in their dedication to each other it can be overwhelming. I loved their light banter in the beginning. I think she'll always love the King implicitly even if her feelings for the Emperor grow. I'm at a loss as to how they're going to end this. But I'm curious if they'll attempt to use her 'Missing' status as a plot line if they get that far... (Where she goes back to Goryeo...? Haha) But so much of this is fiction. I just don't want to see SN's character turn into the real historical figure who attacked her own country. >_< (And I don't want to see the King unhappy).
The end of Ep11 made me so happy! And now I will wait for subs... >_>
;) If anyone knows exactly what they said and wants to correct me. PLEASE DO haha. Omgoodness I think so too(chemistry)! I've been stalking any bts moments I can find on Youtube haha. I love the king... But he's been such a martyr and fighter from the beginning... where does his character go from here? I think that's what makes the Emperor and SN so interesting too. They still have a ways to grow. (I still love the king)

I think so. But don't kill me if I'm wrong, >_< Sageuks=hard4me. Ta Hwan says he misses SeungNyang and wants to see her and then his assistant gives him an update on what happened to SeungNyang (He's been asking for how many Eps now haha?). And of course, Ta Hwan is upset. Deeply upset. But I can't tell if he told him she was actually a she and given as a tribute... Or if he told him she died.... >_> I know the beginning was a recount but then I couldn't understand. But the look he gives SeungNyang! Ah. My heart on the floor. But he kept saying 'you' so I'm assuming he knows the truth now.
It's so hard to ship her with the King when her relationship with the Emperor is growing gradually... Which feels more believable than her instant love for the King... >_> I can't wait for subs either! There are so many convos that left me confused this Ep.

@Byancha It comes out RAW pretty soon after it airs. (Ep11 is already posted on a few sites RAW) It's just waiting for the subs that takes awhile. I can understand the gist of the Ep RAW but still watch it again when it gets subbed by MBC or a subbing team.
Could we send a petition to MBC and ask them to never ever torture their audience again with subbing dramas themseves?
@Chocobana This is a quote from MBC America's website:
We translate all dramas that we have permission to translate.
This includes the Monday/Tuesday series, the Wednesday/Thursday series, the daily morning series, the daily evening series, sitcoms and the two weekend series.
However, sometimes we do not receive the right to translate and upload/air series because more and more dramas are being created by independent production companies. Therefore, some dramas are not translated (usually the trendy Wed/Thurs series).
Idk if that helped any haha :P But they do translate most of their dramas. But sometimes it can take a loooooong time. :)
Episode 15 felt like a different drama. O.o The drama I expected to watch when I started... ALL of the previous Eps should have had the depth, funnies, cute scenes, and "Heir" drama that this one episode had. Ah! Why?!? When there are only 5 Eps left :(

I know! And sometimes their subs seem a bit watered down... >_> But DramaSmurfSub usually have subs ready before them if you don't mind downloading. I usually watch RAW then watch with DSS's when they're at 100%.
