I have first watched Healer while it was airing 2014-2015. I'm rewatching it now and i came to say that i still think it's the best kdrama that was ever produced. I really don't care if there are dramas with some great worldwide budget now, they can't keep me interested enough. In Healer there are no annoying misunderstandings between the main characters, there are no unnecessary explanations needed because the characters are smart enough to figure things out themselves and they manage to show us that in an unexpected moments. To this day i have not seen a drama like this which plot has a natural flow and doesn't need unnecessary soap opera and cringe elements to remain interesting. Great plot, with lots of great action, beautiful and relatable characters while also having a natural and inclusive portrayal of mental and physical disabilities. The romance is also not forced and even the relationship between the leads seems so relatable and never made me cringe for a second. Also no unnecessary second leads. I will always be Healer's biggest fan and it will always remain as my comfort go to drama.
Like i said the other day, that tape he filmed must be a sign he'll be gone either way... but i still didn't expect him to die this way, i cried my soul out. This was one of the saddest shows i've ever watched. I still think it's one of the best shows out there.
Imo it will probably be drama towards the ending. I knew it since the moment soo ho filmed something for yeong ro over her tape where she talked about being in love with him and they didn't let us hear it. He probably filmed something like a goodbye speech, and we will hear it together with yeong ro when he will already be gone. I think either they will be separated for awhile so that's when she'll listen to that tape and they'll eventually meet again, or he'll die and she'll listen to it afterwards. Either way i think even if it will be somewhat a happy ending it will be bittersweet...
jisoo really has some power, it's funny i started watching arthdal chronicles because she was 2 seconds in it and i got hooked and was obsessed with it while it was airing, and now with snowdrop the same thing happened, it's different bcs she is the main role here but yeah a similar impact on me. even tho i prefer snowdrop bcs it makes me more emotional and idk i got more attached to the characters
but holy shit yoo in na is such a great actress, she has always been one of my favorites and her characters were always so loveable, but the way she managed to make me hate her this much is the proof her acting is superior. Also i'm so proud of Jisoo!!! It's her first role and she is slaying hard! Not many actors manage to touch me that much and make me cry with them, but she does every single time. The way she portrays emotions is so natural. She is so talented!!
The hate i feel towards doctor spy and soo ho's comrade is priceless, i literally yell at them out loud while i'm watching the drama, SOMEBODY MURDER THEM ALREADY
I'm enjoying everything except taeul and the king's relationship. i did like their chemistry but their sudden love for each other is too WEIRD. they had a potential to make them a cute couple but it could have been done slowly and actually make us witness them developing feelings for each other. this way it's just too unbelievable to me. so you visit the guy's house once and the next day you say i love you to him? Tbh i couldn't believe my eyes when she said those words. Anyways.. i do enjoy everything else and i'm excited for the next ep to see shin jae's story. i'm also looking forward to prime minister finding out about the other world and meeting her doppelgänger :D i think it's going to happen soon
I don't think that fire chief is the real culprit. I still believe it's the hacker who works in sun mi's team. I've been suspecting him for so long already bcs of several reasons.. I mostly started suspecting him when i noticed he was enjoying himself while watching disturbing evidence content meanwhile everyone else was horrified. That happened long time ago and then I thought maybe it was bad acting but his further actions were just adding up to my theory. In that ep when min jae gyu was killed he suddenly disappeared. Just before the culprit appeared in the scene, he concluded the system was hacked and he ran off to check the cables... but he never came back. He had enough time to do his work. They show him every now and then and he does seem unimportant but i think that's why he might be the Eraser. He works in a perfect environment and stays unnoticeable. He is also young enough to be able to run a lot, jump off buildings etc. We'll see if my theory is just theory or not but either way i'm looking forward to the outcome :)
the only thing that's bothering me is that she has bangs in some scenes and in some she doesn't and that's impossible.... idk if that's intentional? like she might have two characters in her world? maybe that's how she travelled through time and saved his life? or it's a mistake in filming... lol we'll see
what exactly is so confusing here.... ? i'm genuinely confused at the amount of confusion lmao.... it's really clear when it's one one world or another how is it exactly confusing when they have obvious differences? whatever... loved the first two eps and can't wait for the next one :)
I think it's an excellent script, I find everything that Sun Mi says interesting because everything has its logic,…
tbh i think there are some illogical parts but it's not that bothersome because the plot is really interesting and i love the leads. sun mi is so smart and cool a new girl crush lol i don't see why she gets the hate
>why is this getting so much hate wtf>but that was the bad scriptWhich one is it?
I meant that particular part was badly written and that's why the FL acted like that, but maybe i worded it in a wrong way. Nonetheless, i still don't get the hate, especially for the FL.
why is this getting so much hate wtf.. yeah it has some annoying parts typical for kdrama logic but it's not bad at all??? It's fun and interesting.. and the FL is great.. it was annoying that she suspected him sm but that was the bad script, i love her character. love the ML too and their partner chemistry
the thing i love most about this drama how even though it's a melodrama the characters don't have to cry in every single scene for us to understand their tough lives and struggles, it's so realistic unlike many other melodramas. i love it so much... and yeah it's slow but it's absolutely not boring, the pace just fits the concept of the drama. really really love it
