Displaying the journey in overcoming insecurity and indecisiveness of the main lead. Also worth to mention that both Hold Me Back and Saotome Kanako no Baai wa share the same 3 female casts: Ai Hashimoto, Non, & Asami Usuda.

If you liked either of these dramas you will for sure enjoy the other, im surprised it hasnt been recommended yet!
- both historical dramas with mystery, politics and romance
- both main characters are people of lower status who pretend to be for different reasons someone of a higher status and then face numerous repercussions for it.
- They both have an actor who acts out two characters that look identical to each other which becomes relevant to the plot.

I enjoyed the ending of TTOLO more but overall the acting is amazing in both!

Both are pretty similar with time travel and ancient attire. In scarlet heart female lead goes back in time just like in dreaming back to Qing dynasty. Both FLs get involved with several princes but with two main love interests.
