This is a love story about Ogawa Manami, a high school teacher who grew up in a strict family, and Kaworu, a host who is not good at reading and writing, as they search for love despite the obstacles they face. Manami is being pressured to marry a man she met through her father's introduction, and the high school where she works is also facing a crisis of class collapse. She spends her days lamenting, "I want to run away from this place." One day, she receives a call saying that a student has been deceived by an unscrupulous host, and she rushes to the store to bring the female student back, where she meets Kaworu. Kaworu has to sign a promissory note promising not to contact the student in the future, and Manami finds out about the problem that he had kept secret from anyone until then. In the play, the two gradually become closer through Manami's secret "private lessons," in which she teaches Kaworu about language and society.

In his Chinese film, "Scent," Park Shi Hoo plays Kang In Joon, a Korean interior designer...who finds love when he meets an innocent Chinese girl...it's directed by Jessy Tseng who directed award-winning art house film Big Blue Lake

From his unlikely start as an English encyclopedia salesman, Toru Muranishi casts a charismatic vision that leads Japanese pornography from idealized, substanceless skin flicks to more realistic and story-based encounters. Along the way, he inspires many around him as they navigate a female sexual revolution, monopolized distribution channels, censorship, international laws, and the yakuza.

Both have strong, rich and psychic strange FL.
In both ML and FL have a history.
Both have BDSM parts one more than the other.
FL playes with the ML.

Both similar about the growth and journey of MC to love their job as a doctor, friendship, and love.

Both these films tell stories about Japanese atrocities committed during WWII. While Dead to Rights is a typical war film, Spirits' Homecoming takes a more creative modern/historical approach to its narrative.

Spy drama
Having intense relationship between the leads
Fake marriage
For Haimo-Yizong lovers ????
There was an emotional entanglement between Gu Yizhong and Zhang Haimo and It's the warmest and most heart-wrenching part of the whole drama. Due to the existence of Xiao Ruotong, Gu Yizhong has not been able to clearly realize his deep affection for Zhang Haimo. It was not until Zhang Haimo left at last that Gu Yizhong deeply felt the pain of loss and the emptiness in his heart. Distance can sometimes really produce beauty. It made Gu Yizhong realize that Zhang Haimo had already filled his heart. And as a viewer it was that moment when you know that True Loves are selfless like Haimo did for Gu Yizong. He needed to know the value of the gem who kept illuminating his life through the years.
Respect for the strongest woman standing alone - Zhang Haimo ???

In 1980s South Korea, amidst political unrest, two high school friends, Lee Du Hak and Choi Cheol Ung, bond with O Jeong Sin, a transfer student from Seoul. As they grow closer, both boys fall for her, igniting a love rivalry. Tragedy strikes when Lee Du Hak's family is caught in an incident, leading him down a path of violence and revenge. With political turmoil escalating, can love help heal the rift between the friends?

I agree with what the other recommendation said, but I wanted to add that the male leads are so similar in that they are pretty much unwavering in their love and support of the FL. Neither of them have much coddling of the insane conniving SFL. Although that character is in each of these shows, they never really negatively impact the trust and love between the main couple, so it's tolerable. In contrast, I saw that someone recommended You are My Destiny but that one had ML lead that was so oblivious and blind to the SFL tricks and not loving to the FL that it was genuinely painful to watch. The friend/support couple in both series are also pretty good.
