Both of the stories depicts the same kind of vibe. FL went to an island/town to spend a vacation. Met a charming ML who owns an Inn (Love at First Sight)/Tattoo shop (The Crush). ML on both stories have past issues of people leaving them in the town/island, also they have striving careers in the city but chose to stay in the town. Both FL also have issues in their lives/careers pushing them to take a vacation.

Both of these dramas have great cinematography, bgm music and acting. Characters have great chemistry. But I would say, The crush is a lighter version of Love at First Sight

Both films highlight, in their respective eras, the difficulties of Zainichi Koreans, within the educational system. "Happyend" highlights this by having non-Zainichi Korean students and their experiences, and "GO" highlights this with fellow Zainichi Korean students.

Both cast Nogizaka46 members, have similar stories revolving around characters finding friendship and strength through their sports activities, and are heartwarming! Asahinagu is much more serious, but still very playful and easy to watch.
