The protagonist has a similar family background with deafness. The movie is very chill, has lots of sign language & is slice of life that moves in its own comfortable pace. You can’t approach it with a rushing mindset, instead it’s a calm river that u silently watch flow.

Both depicts the life of LGBTQ individuals but in different generations and period of life. I genuinely like both and I can't pick which one is better but dang 2024 had good representation in Jdrama and Kdrama and I think these two are strong candidates.

Each drama also has lead characters who possess duality. In Cinderella’s Closet, Hikaru is a gender fluid male who often wears women’s clothing and is gifted at hair and makeup. People who know him don’t recognize him when he dresses the opposite of what they normally see him as. In Punks Triangle, Ai is a handsome supermodel known for his punk style, but off-hours he’s a casual and clumsy fashion design student who no one recognizes due to his short wig and bucket hat. In these dramas, you’ll witness how much a wig supposedly changes an entire person’s face so much that no knows it’s them!

The dark crown is defintely the more stupid but devoted version of well intended love. at least we don't have woman doing marthons just sickening to see. but I think the male leads are very similar in there dominating way and when he said ur not going anywhere I just got flashbacks from well intended love.
