From episode one immortal ascension just gives me the same vibe as ever night. The scenery and some of the ost reminds me of ever night. Turns out it by the same director.

Both are vertical dramas with the same actor as the ML. Both are about a modern FL who enters a historical novel as a palace concubine and falls in love with the tyrannical emperor ML.

While one is comedic and the other serious, both movies center around a father doing everything to protect his daughter during a zombie outbreak. MDIAZ briefly references TTB.

Both center on male leads who are exceptionally skilled and driven in their pursuit of justice.
Each drama mixes crime investigation with a strong thriller element, keeping the tension high.
Corruption and hidden conspiracies are major obstacles the protagonists must uncover.
The tone is dark and suspenseful, with little focus on romance.
Both shows highlight the cost of fighting powerful enemies while staying true to one’s convictions.

Both explore elite school settings and the divide between rich students and outsiders.
Each story involves bullying, manipulation, and survival themes.
Characters are morally ambiguous, driven by ambition and desperation.
Despite being youth?centered, both lean toward dark tones rather than lighthearted school life.

Both female leads are stated in the drama that they are sociopaths. Both females have the help of 2 MLs to achieve their goals. In both dramas one ML knows and gives himself the fault of her turning into who she is.
The biggest difference is that Dear X is very dark while Confidence Queen is more light hearted and fun.

Basically, Idols are getting entangled with their fans.
Both these shows give you the “oops I fell for my idol” itch. In both stories, the main guy starts off worshipping someone from afar, Chiaki’s obsessed with model Ai, and Aejoon’s a secret fanboy for idol Siyeol with the trope of life throws them right into their crush’s orbit we all adore. Cue chaos, secrets, and way too much awkward tension. Both stories have that fun mix of “I can’t believe this is happening” energy, plus genuine emotion as the fan–idol walls start to crumble. If you like BLs with hidden feelings, forced proximity, and a dash of fashion or fame drama, these two are basically your next comfort reads.

Taira no Kiyomori takes place right before Kamakura Dono no 13 nin. If someone wants to watch them in the order of the historical events then they should watch Taira first and then Kamakura Dona second.

1/ High school, then University romance
2/ Wang An Yu as ML

BUT :
"Forever love " is a relationship where FL and ML shares a real mutual love. More, the "Forever love" story is better written.

I love DramaWorld and especially the first half of Extraordinary You gave me such strong vibes. Especially on mentioning 'behind the scenes/shadow' of the main story.
DramaWorld also has some romance inside. And watching the main couples from side of an extra is very fun. However Dramaworld is also quite heavy on comedy and less serious than Extraordinary You (it is way shorter too but worth your time I promise).
