It's the previous entry in this same franchise (as in: the one that was last released before this one), covering another part of Wu Xie's life, and it also sees Xu Zhenxuan for the first time in the role of Wu Xie.
The female lead returns to the past to fix her misfortune, which was caused by the male lead, and at first, they both treat each other badly.
Part 2 as well. Main characters undergo terrible abuse and their bullies go on with their lives unscathed. So female leads take revenge into their own hands as revenge is a dish best served ice cold.
Alright, so, I gotta tell you guys about this drama I've been watching – "The Journey of Legend." Now, I know what you're thinking: "Ugh, another wuxia series?" But trust me on this one, especially if you're still obsessed with "The Untamed" like I am.
Okay, it's not a BL drama, so let's get that out of the way. But what I loved about "The Untamed" was how invested I got in the characters, right? Like, I was living their struggles! "The Journey of Legend" gives me that same feeling. This guy, Xiao Qiu Shui, played by Cheng Yi, starts out as this totally clueless dude, and you watch him slowly become this total hero. It's awesome!
Honestly, the fight scenes are great, the story is twisty, and I just found myself really caring about what happened to everyone. If you're looking for something new to binge and you're still missing "The Untamed," give "The Journey of Legend" a shot. You might just find your new obsession. Seriously, check it out!

All three iron triangle characters remain the same as well as the actors. It has both Republican era and modern age understanding.
Both Twelve Letters and Shining for One Thing have time travel in their plot, an incredible main couple and will make you ugly cry.
-Similar color palette (blue/purple, darker elments in the demon realm)
-Both beautiful OSTs
-Twin sisters/sisterhood theme
-Both have demon ML (in Starry Love he's actually "evil"/villain at first)
Starry Love is arranged marriage trope

Although Here we meet again has more depth, it also tells a story of a man whose stays when the times get tough.
Both have different stories, and yet very loyal male leads.
I do like Gu Jia Xin better because he knows how to communicate better.
