Both dramas are Thai remakes of popular Korean series, each offering a distinct genre blend. Let’s Fight Ghost is adapted from the 2016 K-drama "Bring It On, Ghost", mixing horror, romance, comedy, and supernatural elements. Happiness, on the other hand, is based on the 2021 Korean drama of the same name, combining survival thriller and apocalyptic themes against the backdrop of a viral outbreak.
Saint Suppapong and Orn Patchanan reunite as the lead pair in both series. In Let’s Fight Ghost, they portray a ghost-exorcist duo in a quirky supernatural rom-com. In Happiness, they take on more intense roles as young police officers navigating a dangerous lockdown inside a quarantined apartment complex.
While the genres are vastly different, both stories challenge their characters’ resilience and highlight the deepening of emotional bonds forged through extraordinary circumstances.

If the first episode of DMF was fun for you, what if instead of a friend, you see the reaction of the parents (mostly fathers)?! I watched the first episode of WOKFIL unsubbed and that's how badly I want to watch this. The fathers are known people in Korean media so the cast members are basically nepo babies. With that in mind, as early as now I do not expect a real couple in this show because they probably joined to get recognition, but most of them are really likeable that I can't turn away just yet.

very slow, healing and philosophical. i loved the quotes and poems in both. the female lead is also on the calmer side. a poem a day has more romance than MLJ but both are good!

You're going for a deep dive into what appears to be simple lives and simple investigations, but the ending will leave you guessing throughout the entire process about whodunnit. Directors want you to use your noggin' to do the guesswork while wrenching your heartstrings in the process.

Honestly the dramas are not all that similar in terms of plot but the vibes are similar. Both are quirky comedies with atypical elements and surrealism vibes. Both FLs are quirky and unlikely protagonists.

- Aloof MC teamed up with quirky and bubbly MC
- Quirky MC seems clumsy but is actually very competent
- MCs work for a secret organisation (detectives in RoOT, assassins in SKnKS)
- MCs work off the record
- Similar aesthetic
- Similar vibe overall though RoOT has less comedy

In both dramas, the female lead takes a break from work and travels to the countryside/their hometown. Both female leads are overwhelmed with work and life and both dramas focus on their healing story. The female leads in the two kdramas also have a strained relationship with their mothers which is developed as the drama progresses. Very similar vibes and both have romance

The share a similar theme of reincarnation where the MLs meet their reborn love ones when they are much older. They also reborn as a male in both. The difference is that BJoTO is a movie and more realistic.

Reborn: Family Drama
Go Ahead: Family Drama

Both stories has a REALLY DIFFERENT pattern or plot bit if you look closer to it the message they’re trying to convey are pretty mich the same. It’s how fragile a relationship (family, friendship, lover) is but it is the strongest tie human could have. After all they need those relationship… Both series shows how a toxic relationship broke someone but lead them to understand things better and teach them about how life works… I enjoyed both series but I won’t go for another sea of tears…
