Basically, there are leads who carry blood feud and revenge oath but fall in love with each other. The visual quality of this drama is no less stunning than Fated Hearts but this does not have sensationalism of western production like FH had (too many plot twists to milk the dangers and tribulation tropes). This is what cdrama represented 25 years ago: adherence to the logic of the story and consistent delivery of superbly written script. The author of this (already deceased unfortunately) had created many wuxua sagas with incredible talent and the director/ crew here did an amazing job on much smaller budget. Actors were awesome here!
