both are about a teacher trying to help her students, not only because of studies but also help their personal problems too

Music, love, friendship, desire of achieving dreams, that's what this drama and movie have in common. You'll see a girl wanting to make her debut with some boys, a love story between a famous guy and a 'soon to be famous' girl, the ex-girfriend trying to get her guy back and also, the end in both drama and movies seems to be rushed.

Both dramas deal with the production of beauty products. The stories' conflict revolves around deceit, disloyalty greed etc ,the good and bad that will up one cosmetic product over another for the ultimate glory and power of the winning group.

In both dramas, the protagonist hides his real identity from the girl he loves.

Both story about young north korea spy send to south korea for a mission.

Both are about a father risking everything in order to save his daughter.

Both movies are about men waiting for their capital punishment
very touching and sad stories that will make you cry a river

Same kind of plot: a person seeking revenge for a girl being raped.

Both dramas are romances about female bodyguards... Although there isn't much action in Sweet Sweet Bodyguards, it's still enjoyable ^^

Both drama have mature female leads who are sassy, charismatic, humorous and beautiful. The male leads have super powers but they don't show off and be 'heroes'. The romance feels similar with both having a desperate tone as though they are about to lose each other and must treasure each moment they have. Although the story is very different in each drama, the same gut wrenching feeling of falling in love is present while watching both drama. All in all both are masterpieces of the romance/melodrama genre.

It's also about a relationship of a divorce lawyer with a manager at a company that sets up people who have been divorced with dates. The Main Role is the awesome actor Kim Ji Hoon!

They both involve time travel between eras and creating food! Chonmage Purina is a samurai who travels forward in time and makes his name by making pastries. Nobunaga No Chef travels back in time, leading to the character making dishes for a powerful daimyo named Nobunaga Oda.

Both are dramas with the younger male, older female setting. Both dramas takes a place at an office where both works. Both dramas gives off a similar vibe in my opinion.

in both works, the heroine -who gave up on being a pianist- meets a piano genius and decides to help him dream big.

Both dramas are about a male student falling madly in love with a female teacher.
Romance is more on the taboo side about teacher x student relashionship while Biscuit Teacher and Star Candy is more about the romantic feeling of the young student.
Side stories also preventing them to be together :
- Romance : the woman's family is responsible for the boy's father suicide.
- BT&SC : the teacher is romantically involved with a co-worker, who happens to be the boy's uncle.
