Both are love stories about a top star and a regular girl. Also in both stories the male lead uses another girl to try to make his childhood love upset. But in Jai Rao the female lead is his childhood love.

The road home is a better drama to me but they do have a similar feel maybe because they are family dramas lol

They were filmed 1 year apart, they both have Park Hae Jin and LOT's of family issues lol - idk, I just think they have a similar feel

Both has Wallace Huo, and Tiffany Tang as one of the lead couple. It's a funny rom-com, with a bit of action, and shows the couple in a less serious way.

In both series we ask ourselves if the main character is either good or bad. As the action advances we discover his reasons for being like that.
