Both dramas features a game like mission that they have to go through as well as time traveling. They would go in a loop if the mission fails.

What these two dramas have in common is, essentially, the presence of a strong female lead. In both cases we have an exeptional, attractive female figure that is going to change her life drastically (even though in different ways and due to different past events). Additionally, in both cases, there is a healty relationship. I'm talking about extremely green flags: the male leads support and stay by 'her' side. Finally, deeper themes are also developed in the two series: some characters are psychologically and emotionally well presented and analyzed (in particular Jung Soo Min and Hong Doo Shik).

It's both about mainly murder mysteries and the main role seeing ghost of the dead but in Jdrama the main role use these ghosts to solve their cases.
Border is amazing, a bit old but amazing and everything about it is lovely, a bit dark, with some comedy side like all jdramas!

Different versions of the same Story!

FL shows the hurt Mob ML kindness and he falls instantly in love.

Obsession & passion.

ML uses every gram of blackmail and cohersion in the book.

Both ML are unhinged and crazy in their own ways.

FL stood no chance against them.

ML are Mob gangsters.

Both ML fall madly in love with FL.

Both ML uses blackmail and force to get FL throughout this story.

Its the classic genre of Captive Love of the Mob Boss.

Hao Ran`s version of ML are way darker in the psychological aspect which gets more shown.

Both series centered around main characters trying to start and manage their own business, then falling in love with their co-workers. Both series have a half-black character and a gender nonconforming character working for said business. Also in both of them the main character's very beautiful and successful ex-girlfriend shows up. And both have a scene when the main character wears an animal costume to attract costumers.

Both dramas feature serial killings by a victim of an old unsolved case. Both have police force teams created to solve the case, with the main leaders all involved in the said old case. Both also have a psychologist supporting char/ML pretty involved in the investigation. There is a similar relationship between the two MLs: one older ML who was briefly acquainted with the younger ML by chance through an old case. No real bromance in either :(

Both dramas feature serial killings by a victim of an old unsolved case. Both have special task force teams created to solve the case, with the main leaders all involved in the said old case. Though in Serial Homicide, there is slight bromance, and romance, there's none (bromance/romance) in The Abyss. The 2ML-1FL triad is consistent in both.

Would def say Desire Catcher was great though!

I think this drama may be little similar to The greatest love. As in both drama, the male actors portray role of a top class korean actor. And female leads are from middle class background . Main actor is rich rude arrogant. He accidentally meet female , fight become enemies and later on fall for each other.
I guess may be this drama may be like the greatest love kdrama.
So I recommended it. And believe me it's one of the best my favourite Kdrama. Love the story cast ost!!

While I was watching FH, the political drama really reminded of LLTG.
Both ML are excellent fighters and command an army.
Both ML have issues with their dads due to their parents' marriages.
FL is engaged to someone else before getting together with the ML

Differences
IN FH the ML is a prince but LLTG he is a general, even if very close to the king
FL in FH is a fighter but LLTG she is Court lady.

Similarities:
ML and FL are from rival kingdoms
Both leads are excellent fighters
power struggle in ML kingdom and politics
Not a lot of misunderstandings between the leads
Happy ending in both
Both have great OSTs

Differences:
WRTW has a lot more comedy and fantasy elements. FH has a lot more political drama
Thought the chemistry in WRTH was better
ML has a non-chalant attitude in FH and in WRTW it is the FL who does whatever and the ML is more poised.

The dynamic between Gun and Cher remind me of Kinn and Porsche. While the plot is wildly different, the main characters’ relationship is very similar. Porsche and Cher as the silly and insubordinate employees and Kinn and Gun as the serious bosses giving in.
