Nobunaga decides to set burn Mt Hiei. Ken worries about the situation as soldiers of Nobunaga's army worry about the innocent women and children Nobunaga seems not to care for.

Natsu is kidnapped in a case of mistaken identity. Ken follows to save her and meets with the formidable Takeda Shingen.

Still under Takeda's employment, Ken receives a message from Nobunaga. He continues cooking for Takeda while wondering what his next move should be.

Ken follows the Takeda army into battle.

Now back with Nobunaga, Ken is tasked with helping out Ieyasu in Hamamatsu Castle. He devises a plan to help against the upcoming battle with Takeda.

Worried about the situation with the shogun, Ken devises a plan to end the issue as peacefully as possible.

Meeting Nagamasa's family once again, he helps Oichi make a dinner to convey Nobunaga's thoughts to her husband. The situation worsens as Nobunaga makes moves against Nagamasa.
