"I can't fly without Young Chae... because it's impossible to fly with only one wing." "Byung Soo is mine. He has always been mine ever since we were born." "There are neither victims nor assaulters when it comes to love." "If I knock that little girl down as you wish... then would you come to me?" There are Byung Soo and Young Chae who have grown up together ever since they were little. They seem to share everything, not to mention their dream, so in order to make their dream come true together, they enter the same film company. And there's Ina who is the successful owner and the president of the film production company. She also has Hee Soo beside her, but they are not desperately in love with each other and lead their own private lives. They just occasionally go out and sleep together. But all of a sudden, there comes this young and lovable couple, and somehow she's not that pleased to see them. Why? This young couple seems to be full of life, and they're in love! She has missed all that just in order to come up to where she's now. She is totally feeling at a loss now, and she just can't stand this feeling. She asks Hee Soo, "Take Young Chae away from Byung Soo." Edit Translation

Pain

As it is clearly obvious just from reading the synopsis, this drama revolves entirely around this love square from the first second to the last. It's definitely an intense and exhausting love square, if only the leads had some brains it wouldn't had lasted as long. What bothered me the most is how both leads behave and act as if they came from a foreign planet. The drama is entirely driven by no communication, no explanation and a sprinkle of misunderstandings. From the end of episode 3 it will give you everything you need to know and expect from it.

what happened in bali from temu

this started off looking like it was gonna be this dark messy adult melodrama about two couples completely ruining each others lives and somehow turned into grown ass people with jobs, sex lives and marriages acting like mentally deranged high school teenagers.

byung soo especially drove me insane. kim rae won is gorgeous but this character was written and acted SO overly childish. he’s constantly whining, crying, making bizarre little boy faces and having a complete nervous breakdown over everything. him cheating on his girlfriend, sleeping with his boss and then making this gigantic scene about it was written so fucking badly that i couldnt even take his guilt seriously. sir YOU slept with her why are you walking around like your entire family died please get a grip.

and the writing just gets sloppier the more complicated the relationships become which is honestly impressive because the setup was SO good. two couples basically switching partners, jealousy, cheating, revenge, obsession, people getting involved with someone just to hurt somebody else… this should have been exactly my shit.

instead it started feeling like something a 13 year old wrote on wattpad after learning what adultery means. people develop life changing feelings in five minutes, make insane decisions with barely any emotional development behind them and then spend the next three episodes screaming and crying over situations they literally created themselves.

the funniest part is how desperately the drama wants to be this mature psychological story about love and desire while almost everyone emotionally behaves like theyre experiencing their first middle school breakup.

kim sung soo was insanely sexy though so at least there was that. honestly the entire cast was way too attractive and talented for this script. beautiful cast completely wasted on writing this sloppy.

the premise deserved something dark, sexy and psychologically fucked up. instead i got adults throwing emotional tantrums every fifteen minutes. insanely attractive cast trapped inside what feels like a wattpad story written during lunch break.
