I haven't really written reviews for any other series before but this one was a must. If you are having doubts on whether to watch it or not I suggest you throw them all down the drain and definitely try this! This series was such a roller coaster. I thought it had the perfect of everything, the romance, the heart wrenching moments, the comedy, everything! I loved this series because it was one that touched my heart so deeply. A lot of times the beginnings of series will be great but it gets boring and I just force myself to watch the rest since I've started with it but it was not the case with this at all! I didn't ever get bored at all, in fact when it was over it felt like a part of me had gone missing as well. I wasn't really sure if I'd be able to watch this or not since I usually find series like this really hard to watch but although it makes you cry in a few scenes the way they balanced the comedy and the tragic moments is absolutely admirable. The way the actors portrayed their characters was brilliant as well. The male lead was exceptional in each personality of the character he portrayed and you could feel yourself falling in love with each of his personalities. One of the best shows I've ever watched!

Two dramas in one year about DID. In my opinion this drama is the better one of the two that came out despite having totally different plots. This drama just has a better cast with very good acting skills. Ji-sung who portrayed Cha Do-hyun, a DID patient, did a marvelous job in terms of playing 7 totally different personalities, each having a different voice, gesture, clothing, accent, gender and so on. I personally don't think it is very easy to just fit into a skin that is clearly not suitable for his age, for example becoming a 7 year old girl. However, he became a 7 year old girl and despite knowing this is just a drama, I felt as if it was a young girl in a man's skin which was both weird and amazing. This drama made me really interested in this rare mental disorder and I had to research about it to get the full gist of it. It is both very interesting and scary, the fact that a whole new and different personality can live inside you without knowing about it.

This drama took me by surprise. I really thought the whole premise with dissociative identity disorder would be way to gimmicky for a drama in 2015, but Ji Sung does an amazing job with all the different roles and personalities he played. His acting in this drama really illustrates an amazing range. It's incredible how the viewer can fall in love with all of the protagonists personalities even ones that make limited appearances throughout the drama. Additionally, I loved the relationship between Oh Siblings, Oh Ri Jin and Oh Ri On. Their friendship is infectious and side split-tingly funny. Kill Me, Heal Me has a perfect balance between laugh out loud funny and uncontrollable tears. This story's pacing is FIRE!! If you like dramas that keep you clinging to your seat, you should definitely give this drama a try.

I watched a lot of k dramas ( to the point where you could say I nearly watched every romance k drama there is ) but this one was awesome, if you don't watch it you will regret it. I watched the first of this drama many times but each time I was not interested enough to go on to the next ep, after watching every k drama I knew I thought of watching this to at the third ep and once I did I regretted not watching it sooner. other than the first ep I believe the rest is a master piece. I still listen to the ost of this drama on my way to school it is just one of the best ost there is.

I absolutely loved this drama. It hooked me in from the first episode which is rare. I laughed until I cried. I cried at some points. It moved me. The writing was excellent. The solution to the mysteries was not telegraphed to you way in advance. I hope Ji Sung won an award for this because he deserves it. I have re-watched this drama more than once and that makes it worth a 10. II shudder to think what would have happened to this drama if the role was given to a kpop idol who can't do anything but act cute. This role required emotional depth and he brought it.

Unique And Unforgettable

I recommend this drama to those that have watched way too many kdramas and are now tired of the shallow romances, empty characters and stories that are barely hanging on by a thread, this drama has everything but that. New viewers won't be able to appreciate this drama as much and won't be as forgiving towards certain things that in the end don't really matter, I know from experience because when I first tried to watch this a long time ago I foolishly dropped it.

This drama has the best acting out there. The male lead was absolutely fantastic, all the characters he played were perfectly acted. The female lead was amazing as well, her expressions, her voice and her playful demeanor were perfect for this character, no one else would've been able to play these characters like they did.

The story is rich, emotional, carefully crafted and slowly unveiled to the viewer. There are a lot of twists and turns. The smallest lines and scenes carry significance that is revealed later with a huge emotional impact.
The dialogue is excellent, the conversations sound natural and can really pack a punch at times. Some scenes became memorable because of their beautiful lines that tug at your heartstrings.

The comedy is good, some golden scenes come to mind specifically.

The main characters have actual character development and a character arc, they go through an inner journey over the course of the story and every character has their role, unique personality, goals and motivations even if they are only a side character.
The romance is honestly one of the best if not the best romance. I could really feel their love for each other because it made sense, there were so many reasons for them to love each other so when they ultimately expressed it through dialogue or even through their eyes it was really heartwarming. This is one of those couples that I truly felt belonged together.

Obviously this show, like everything in this world, isn't perfect(its flaws are mainly the cringy visual fx, the sometimes excessive crying, some emotional scenes that are badly timed and the questionable mental ilness aspect that I, to enjoy the series more, saw in a more fantasy-esque light as it was probably intended) but in the end it leaves us feeling full and glad we didn't skip on this one.

The only flaw in this programme was... I;m sorry I can't do this! It was THE BEST SHOW I HAVE EVER SEEN IN MY ENTIRE LIFE!

Honestly, Jisung's acting left me crying. I just wish Shin SeGi had been the main persona instead of Cha DoHyun. Also, Park SeoJoon's acting was amazing and he's inspired me to watch Fight for my way. Honestly, I fell in love with this drama firstly because of its OST Auditory Hallucinations. As a Seventeen stan and the fact that Wonwoo is my bias, the OSTS made this drama! I also liked Ahn Yona's personality; honestly the funniest parts were when she came out in the episodes. Will definitely add this drama to my rematch list. Again, JISUNG!!!!! I love you :)

The female lead, Oh Ri Jin, is a terribly annoying character and hard to like. It's amazing how more than one personality of Cha Do Hyun was able to stand her.

The story is a huge mess and there really isn't much reason to watch the show if not for several characters (e.g. Cha Do Hyun, Shin Se Gi). I'm surprised by how many people here have reviewed the story with a 10.

The show does have its fun and dark tones, and at times just overly absurd moments.

If you are prepared to cringe quite a lot from the female lead, go ahead and watch the show.

You have to know a few things before starting this

==Breakdown==
Background plot - 50%
Romance - 25%
Misc comedy - 25%

Background plot - From absolutely brilliant to insensitive, lazy, and terrible
Romantic chemistry - Excellent
Misc comedy - Good sometimes, other times lazy and harmful
Production value - Excellent

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW BEFORE YOU WATCH: Before you watch this, please take their depictions of mental illness unseriously. Do not watch this thinking they did at all a good job with the illnesses and disorders they portray (they did not). Most are horribly harmful stereotypes of very serious, layered, complex disorders (bipolar disorder, as an example). The depictions were lazy and harmful and bad and inauthentic. I somewhat blame the actors they picked for these roles who obviously did no homework before playing their "crazy" characters. But I also blame the director. The script, when taken on its own, is not bad.

The only exception to this was the ML's struggle with having multiple personalities (aka dissociative identity disorder). This was the only disorder somewhat portrayed with any sensitivity, and only because of the obvious work put in by the actor. Many scenes which should be considered absolutely heartbreaking are played for convenient and lazy comedy, and I understand why. However, the ML actor always seemed to save these scenes with his earnest, honest, and raw approach to portraying this struggling character.

Also, the FL screams. A lot. It's irritating.

MAIN REVIEW: This is so hard to rate. On the one hand, it's well-acted, the script is good, the music is excellent, and the chemistry is great between all the main players. On the other hand, it perpetuated harmful stereotypes about very serious illnesses, contributing to misinformation and perpetuating ignorance / harm.

I guess, if you can disassociate yourself (see what I did there?) from taking this at all seriously, then go for it. But please know, this is not an authentic or realistic depiction mental illness. It's really bad. In fact, it's demoralizing. And that makes me sad.

ALL-TIME FAVOURITE

I just finished watching the drama for a second time and I still have no bad things to say about it.
---STORY---
This was the first and is the only drama I have watched where the main character has DID, and I loved it so much! The story is really well-written, and everything develops perfectly. I didn't feel like the drama was dragging on whatsoever throughout the 20 episodes (which is already pretty long for a drama). With other dramas that have 12-16 episodes, sometimes I find myself wondering when it's going to end, or how far I've watched. I NEVER felt that way with this drama.

The drama never gets boring and they have a couple REALLY shocking plot-twists that I'm pretty sure no one could've predicted. And the plot twists aren't the ones some dramas use as filler, they're all crucial to the main plot of the story.

---CAST---
I think we can all agree that the casting and acting were 10/10. Ji-sung is SUCH an amazing actor and even though people may find Ri-jin's scream really annoying, it does die down throughout the drama. I fell in love with all the personalities and I REALLY felt like Ji-sung was spit into 6 different people and his transitions between the personalities was SO well done.
Seo-joon was really amazing throughout the drama as well. He made me fall in love with Ri-on and if he weren't her "brother", I would've had REALLY bad second lead syndrome. He adds laughter to the drama and yet he is not a shallow character. I really loved all the main characters, they were really well portrayed.

---MUSIC---
I don't think anyone can say they didn't like Auditory Hallucination. I downloaded the song like 5 years ago, when I first watched and fell in love with the drama, and I have been listening to it for 5 years without ever getting tired of it. It's just THAT good. I also really suits the drama and made me cry A LOT.

---OVERALL---
I would definitely rewatch this drama an unlimited number of times. Everything about it was really well done and it especially peaks my interest as a psychology student. If you don't love the drama already by episode 2, then who are you?

This drama is now my favourite drama of all the ones I have seen. The plot is something you never seen in a drama before and the cast makes it even better. It was like this drama was made for the cast. Some supporting cast I didn't really like because their acting was a little awkward, but overall it was very good.

Just watched the whole thing, but I feel like watching it again hahah would do it too if I didn't have so many other dramas to watch.
The soundtrack was the first thing I downloaded (shhh no one knows that) and I need to listen to those songs every day or else my day is horrible. The song from Jang Jae In and NaShow fit so great to this drama, go listen to the whole song if you haven't heard it yet. It's the first thing I listen to in the morning.

Love the drama! Ji sung and Hwan Jung Eum does another amazing drama together! Recommend it a lot :)

Yes!! Finally a great storyline, and interesting and fun drama.
Yeh!!!! for no baddies, heartburning or love triangles, just a great story by itself.
Lots of talk of it being related or similar to some other shows, but I enjoyed it a lot and it was a first for me so it doesnt matter.
I really enjoyed the heroes acting especially as he had to play many different characters. The heroine was OK, im not a great fan of hers, but she did her job well.
Go for it people, no wasted time here.
