The humor was there but it wasn't really my style of humor (which usually is more dry and sarcastic), and the mystery/melodrama of finding out the past also wasn't heavy and engaging enough to make me shed tears.
Something about the way it was edited/produced also made some of the flashbacks, especially at the start of the drama, look parodic as if the characters were just dancing in front of a green screen, and it was hard to take it seriously that way.
I do appreciate the handling of several important topics like child abuse and trauma though, and how the DID played into this was really touching.

I don’t really have much bad to say about it except that the female leads voice is a bit too high pitched for me when she screams. In the first few episodes she does a lot of screaming and it’s really annoying. Thankfully she doesn’t scream as much in the later episodes. But her crying scenes are a bit loud and go on for too long in the last few episodes. But overall she did a great job on her acting. And Ji Sung did the best acting of his career in this drama. I don’t normally rewatch dramas but I’ve rewatched this one twice. The story and acting is absolutely amazing.

It's an interesting drama without the usual cliches!
It kept me interested till the end. Wasn't bored of any episode, which in itself is a great compliment to this drama. It seemed to be confusing in the beginning, but they wrapped up all the loose ends, or at least most of it. At first, it seemed to be like a weird relationship, almost being incest; but it wasn't the case, which made it seem better. Though I mostly never do ship comparisons, I must say Ahn Yo Na x Oh Ri On is the best couple than Cha Do Hyun x Oh Ri Jin.Though in the first few episodes, Hwang Jung Eum's acting seemed to be a lot more than required, felt like overacting honestly; but later on, her acting improved and it became pleasing to watch. Maybe it took her a very long time to get into the character.
There is this one song in particular that will keep ringing in my mind for a few weeks now - "Auditory Hallucinations".

My review will be short! All I can say is this drama tends to bore me at times especially with a lot of flashbacks! But Ji Sung is great a actor! :) I watched this drama because of PSJ. And he didn't disappoint me as well.
Hwang Jung-eum is ANNOYING THE WHOLE TIME. maybe I just don't like her acting in this drama. She keeps shouting and cries a lot agh so annoying. I almost didn't finish this drama because of her.
I will recommend this drama if you're a fan of PSJ.

superb acting by main mail character/s
art ( i mean good art, objective art) is food for the soul, whether it's music, visual, film, theater, etc.the acting of ji sung is that kind of art - an actor who is able to convincingly change from one character to another within a split second, 7 times, and stir up your emotions, your intellect, your imagination - that kind of acting is superb to say the least, that kind of acting is TRUE art and definitely worth your time and investment, if only to see his acting.
it starts a little (or a lot) overdramatic, chaotic, but give it a chance. usually an actor has to get into his/her character and work on it throughout the production. to go from one character to a completely different one 7 times within one production is very difficult, complicated and can be very confusing. but ji sung does it with charm, intelligence, great skill and more. enjoy.

Wow! This show is amazing!
This show was amazing! I was so impressed with the story and the acting! Don’t forget the awesome soundtrack!! It is one of my top favorites on Viki! I will be having my husband watch it with me next. I talked him into watching Masters Sun and he loved it. I think he will enjoy this one also. I think he was mostly amazed at the acting and story Kdramas can spin. The first part of the drama was a bit hard to get into. I will be honest... it took me a few months to really get into it. I was not sure what to expect. I saw a clip of the drama on Facebook and was shocked it was this show. It hooked me. So I decided to go back, buckle down, and just watch it. I am SO glad I did!! This is one you don’t want to miss!
The lead actor did an awesome job playing several different personalities. He is a great actor.

Brilliant acting
I was exhausted by the time I finished this show! There are so many twists and turns in this story, you need a map. It was an original story, very entertaining, but very emotional. Ji Sung is the male lead, and on a scale of 1 to 10, I'd give him a 20 for this part! He had trauma in his life which cause him to develop multiple personalities. Each personality was so believable and there were so many heartbreaking scenes. I have to score down for two reasons, one was the overabundance of bad guys, and the other was for the female lead, played by Hwang Jung Eum. She tends to stay on the comedy side of the spectrum which was jarring in a lot of the scenes - her screaming and shrieking were very distracting. She was much better in the emotional scenes toward the end. I felt the ending was rushed after all the drama they went through, but this show has one of the best lines ever in ep 1 "Remember - January 7, 2015 at 10:00 on the dot. The time I fell for you." If for no other reason, watch this for Ji Sung's acting. Was this review helpful to you?
But I was definitely pleasantly surprised with the last 3-4 episodes. I really loved the plot twist! My mouth was hanging with surprise.
Overall,it's not really the best drama i've ever watched but it was enjoyable.

As for Hwang Jeong Ums acting, I did think she was annoying at first. Gladly she kinda grew on me the more I got into the drama and, I don't know, it seemed like she really meant what she said.
As I couldn't get this drama out of my head during the days and to then rush home to watch some more episodes, I think it is pretty solid to say that I really enjoyed it.
The plot was interesting enough to keep me entertained, it was well paced all the way through.

First of all I'd like to divide kmhm into 2 parts.
From ep1:7 and from 7:20
The first part was actually boring, it didn't grab my attention but I kept pushing myself due to all the great reviews about it... But I reached a point where I didn't care so I dropped the drama in the middle of the 6th episode for months.
When I got back to watching it again I decided to give it one more chance... And figured that I dropped it just when it was about to get better :D
So the first 6 episodes were meh like I said but the remaining episodes were so much better.. It got me hooked slowly then after 3 4 ep I was strongly addicted that I couldn't wait to find out what will happen next.
The second part was amazingly good that I was so mad at how the writers made me nearly drop it and miss watching this amazing story unfold.
The plot was amazing, all I could think while watching is how did they think of such a sad and beautiful story. They unfold it perfectly, every piece at a time (but after 6 eps of nothingness, unfortunately)
The acting was spectacular although during a few scenes I thought the actors were a little bit exaggerating but overall I didn't mind.
The osts were perfect I think this is the best plot music match I've seen in kdramas.
Overall I strongly suggest watching this... If you could bear the first episodes, you will find the story very beautiful and the wait well deserved. :)
