A must watch movie

Oh my goodness what a movie it is.
It showed the limits one can cross for their loved ones. Almost all the actors did outstanding work in it. The plot moves really smoothly. Loved both the dads so much especially Sang Hwa. The film shows the different emotions one goes through during a situation when death is right before your eyes. Fear, Anger, Love, Sacrifice, Selfishness, Selflessness, Team-spirit. The movie was wholesome full of emotions.

I tried my best to not cry when Sang hwa died and when SeokWoo got infected. But ended up crying when Seok Woo started remembering the time when Soo Ahn was born. Then I tried to stop crying and did stop crying but then at the very end Soo Ahn starting singing the song which she had prepared for her dad but could never sing for him, I cried again.

Iconic

As headline says, its iconic.
Is it good? Yes, if you like Z-tales.
Predictable and I wish the jerks had worse endings.
I personally aint very fond of Z content but I endured this one, mainly because the acting was that good.
It was the perfect Z-popcorn excitement cine you watch with friends.

I wish the ending was a little bit better but all in all, it was quite good, again, its the acting that raises the rating, script wise, not as much .

Perhaps contradictive but it has 99% good re-watch rate as the Fx and all the small details you might miss the first round.
Another small interesting part is that the movie is 2hours long, which makes the story almost in real time (as a regular Soul-Busan journey takes ~2.5hours with the speed train), for that alone, it makes this worth watching.

I thought for a long time about how many points to give this movie and I've already decided. Unlike, for example, Happiness (where the zombies were beautiful), here they were pretty creepy and I won't lie, I was scared several times by completely stupid things that I would never normally be scared of (and no, it wasn't that scary, more like funny moments, depressing, or a few people made me really angry). Anyway, I think the movie was mega well-made (the ending caught me off guard) and it deserves a recommendation. Besides, there's already a second part, but I don't know if it's worth watching (a lot of people say it's not), so I'll see if I decide to watch it :D.

such a great film

this really was a great watch the actors all played their parts so well, i enjoyed the plot of it all and i cried so much oml. just wanna say i dont think u understand how MUCH that yon suk guy? pissed me off omfg i wanted to punch him through the screen. i feel like it was also nice to see the devolpment of gong yoo’s character as well, the little girl his daughter played her part amazingly as well!!! the sets were amazing just everything i really recommend watching it if you haven’t, even if you dont like zombies or stuff liek this i feel like its a must watch!!

Zombie Survival Done Right

For something that I expected to fall off short, I'm still in awe of what I saw. Sure, I've heard a lot of praise about this movie, but at the end of the day, it's just another zombie survival, how good can it get?

I take it back. How good can it NOT get?!

When even Hollywood can't sell off a plot with its seemingly unending budget, you'd think nobody else can. Well, I guess I'm stepping into a territory where nothing of that matters.

This movie had everything, cast, plot, budget, and most importantly, it was enjoyable. The acting was superb, I really connected with all characters. The gore as unforgiving, and the stakes were racing the high skies. This is a really special experience as a first-time watch, and ever more so as rewatch material.

Very amazing zombie movie!

I absolutely adore Korean zombie shows and movies because they’re all very different and fun to watch!

I watched this movie a longgg longggg time ago when it came out, I distinctly remember watching it hoping it for it to be scary as I was watching alone but NAHHH this was more heartwarming and intense than horror.

I absolutely despise the business guy omggg tho it’s been long since I last watched, I still remember this movie scene by scene, this is how good this movie is!!!

The child actor is amazing and awesome!
The acting is so catching and well done!

As a person who enjoys zombie shows, I’d definitely recommend anyone this movie first!

Also, to say about the zombies, they’re very fast and scary gosh

I remember crying buckets of tears on the last scene 😭😭😭

haha I'm depressed

i don't even know how to start
first, i thought the movie would end well
most of the characters would be alive, but haha no
only the pregnant woman and the kid survived.

i wanted to know deeper the story of the characters to develop feelings for them you know? but i only had feelings for the pregnant couple and the father with his kid. (cried when he died lol)
plus, did the mother of the kid was alive or not? she didn't answered the phone calls but she could be alive.

i loved the action scenes! they were sooo cool!! the actors did an amazing job, i felt so emotional 💔 (Gong Yoo always impressive)

overall, the movie is so good!! i dare to say that is the best korean movie I've seen, but the end was empty...could have more

One of the best zombie movie

This is one the few zombie movies which are really good and are not just about action and all making 💥 boom bam here and there rather it's explore the grounded level problems and keep situations bit realistic and just not glorify the maine character.

To be honest I'm not really fan of sad endings I even avoid watching movies or drama with sad sad endings but this is one of them which I watch even knowing that the ending is not really a happy ending.
And I think sad ending make this movie even more spacial.

So if you want to watch a zombie movie with emotional rollercoaster ride then just watch it without thinking about the ending I am sure you will like it.
