Gritty ,2000's atmosphere with themes of familial abuse. Complicated familial relationships and hidden secrets.

Almost eerie atmosphere ,along with family issues plot and an abusive female lead and underlying tones of child abuse, though a little different in terms of storyline , both contain very similar style of cinematography and storytelling .
