This lakorn is light-hearted, cute, and a short watch. It also had me rolling on the floor laughing XD
STORY: Pretty lacking. The premise is cute, but there are a lot of little hints that are never explained. Why Esther's character hates men so much, for example. Not one word of explanation. Or why Sean's character pretended he was a photography major... the list goes on. I didn't watch this drama for the story, only for the premise. Don't expect incredible writing or anything from it. I did, however, like how the lakorn wasn't about gay or not gay. It was about Esther's character giving men a chance, and not being preachy for either side.
ACTING/CAST: Sean and Esther. Hot men. Esther's mother. What's not to like?
MUSIC: Cute, not a soundtrack that really stood out for me, though.
REWATCH VALUE: Something fun to watch in between long/overdramatic lakorns. I watched it twice, because the humor is such that it really doesn't get old XD I watch it when I want to laugh... and watch Sean and Esther's thoroughly satisfying REAL kiss scene that's slightly more than just touching lips and calling it a kiss.
Overall, a cute lakorn that makes you laugh. Very little plot to follow, and one that is just fun.

The last series in ugly duckling. Boy paradise, why?

Mami lives in a place called girl paradise with three friends. she have a birthday party and the other Ugly Ducklings Junior, Alice and Maewnam also attend. Mami is having a secret girl crush on her bestie but her mother caught her and immediately rents out the rooms to 3guys, to stop Mami from becoming a lesbian. What follows is a fake relationship, and lots of fun.

Plot View
As mami has not mingled with guys much she feels comfortable with girls. But as we say until you try a new thing you cant say its bad.
About the sexual orientation Mami herself was confused, she doesn’t know what she liked, because if she liked girls, she wouldn’t have changed.
The plot stressed too much that Mami is lesbian. Which I didn’t feel the need to. Mami mother is i cant understand i mean how can you keep your own daughter with three guys, what if they are not gentleman. that was a stupid step IMO.
As for the guy LJ, was the worst, I mean come on you show yourself as a gay person they you attempt to kiss your own kiss. PATHETIC
Last episode with the other duckling extra credit scenes were excellent. As I also wanted to know whats happening in their life. It was nice attempt to show their ongoing life.

Acting
Esther is literally a carefree, honest and gullible. her face is so innocent that does all the work for esther.
Sean is handsome and caring. But I don’t know why I don’t like his smile. chemistry was nice. Story is not so wow but the acting is fine by everyone.

Music
Overall its decent but not something that will stay on mind for long.
Mook theme song for ugly duckling kon jao choo is the opening trach which is beautiful as always.

Rewatch
I don’t feel like rewatching. As nothing about the series clasped me.

Lesson
The series also gave a lesson that you should never trust anyone blindly. the fake frinds are more dangerous than known enemy.

Chaotic Cohabitation With Questionable Logic

On paper, it's a breezy romantic comedy. In practice, it's a show with some glaring problems that are hard to look past.

Credit where it's due — the finale actually delivers. As a closing chapter to the entire Ugly Duckling series, which comprises four mini-series — Perfect Match, Pity Girl, Don't, and Boy's Paradise — each telling the story of a different young woman navigating her own complex struggles, Boy's Paradise was not the best choice to end the series , but the finale scenes of other couples wraps things up in a way that feels satisfying and fitting for the anthology as a whole.

Forcing your young daughter to live with three strange men as a corrective measure for having a crush on a girl is wild parenting at best, and frankly diabolical. It's played as lighthearted and comedic, but the premise sits uncomfortably when you think about it for more than a second. On top of that, the show carries clear undertones of homophobia — Mami's attraction to women is treated as something to be fixed rather than simply accepted, which is a dated and harmful framing that the story never really interrogates.
All three male leads develop feelings for Mami far too quickly. There's no real emotional groundwork laid — no slow burn, no genuine moments of connection — just sudden declarations that feel more like plot convenience than character development. A reverse harem setup can work, but only when you actually feel why each person is drawn to the lead.
The antagonist friend is equally underdeveloped. Her hostility toward Mami is apparent throughout, but the show offers no real backstory or motivation to explain it. It's frustrating because a well-written rivalry could have added real texture to the story — instead it just sits there, unexplained.
