Seven Days: Monday - Thursday

セブンデイズ MONDAY→THURSDAY ‧ Movie ‧ 2015
It's a BL movie series that is about high schoolers learning to love. I don't want to give anything away but the story is so sweet and tear jerking, it's definitely worth a watch.

Both are japanese BLs adapted from a manga that has characters that are in school. Based on the source material, the story in both BLs is really similar in that the characters get together because of some sudden situations that are hard to happen in real life. The love interest in both BLs have a really similar personality too.

Both are bl and are adapted from a manga.
Both have a somewhat similar feel.
Seven days has been separated into a two part movie tho.

So the setting is quite different, but they both had this very sweet, innocent, first love vibe to it. Like not very eventful, but really sweet to watch.
/Also Seven Days has a sequel that makes it whole, so it doubles the cuteness watching time! :3

(and also Seven Days: Friday-Sunday which is part 2)

both are about boys finding romantic feelings for each other and both have a fairly chill and light-hearted vibe about it. They also both have a sort of similar ending where there is a separation through a misunderstanding and then a reconnection.

One is Korean and one is Japanese though, so up to you if that bothers you.

Japanese Latin dance champion Suzuki Shinya and Japanese standard dance champion Sugiki Shinya are both famous dancers. Although they are in different fields, their names differ by only one letter. Suzuki, who hates to lose, is irritated by being compared to the other dancer. One day, Sugiki suddenly invites Suzuki to "aim to be champion together in 10 Dances." 10 Dances is a competitive dance where dancers who have mastered both Latin and standard dance compete in a total of 10 dances. Suzuki initially refuses Sugiki's proposal to teach each other and aim for the top because it seems too reckless. However, he is overwhelmed by Sugiki's provocative and competitive attitude and accepts in anger. The two are polar opposites in terms of personality and everything and they clash, but as they take lessons every day, they work hard together and gradually close the gap. Then, Suzuki gradually realizes that he is starting to be attracted to Sugiki.

Bright and early one Monday morning, Shino Yuzuru asks Seryou Touji out on a lark when they run into each other at the school gate. Seryou, who's immensely popular, has the odd habit of going out with anyone who asks him out first at the beginning of the week, then promptly dumping them at the end of it. "Anyone" apparently includes male upperclassmen like Shino, and as a boyfriend, Seryou is perfect--unfailinglythoughtful and kind. Shino, obviously, has no intention of being in a serious relationship with Seryou.
based on manga wih slice of life

Seven days.

There are two parts.
It's classic, and despite the many limitations of that era, it's still a masterpiece. Don't pay attention to the ratings and watch them. You will never regret it.
You will experience similar emotions by watching these movies with this series.

Sequel to Shino Yuzuru and Seiryo Toji dating. Covering the other days of that same week. Both movies should be watched back to back.

Although there is no BL in this drama, it has a strong bromance.
