D-Day

디데이 ‧ Drama ‧ 2015
Though at first these two dramas don't seem the same, when you look deeper there's a lot that make them similar from the tone of the show to the cute romances but especially with how both dramas are about emergency medicine being done with few resources and under a lot of extreme circumstances. There's even a little political maneuvering that happens in both.

When I first saw the transferring to another hospital with a poor condition in D-Day I immediately remembered RDTK. Although it won't be the focus in D-Day, I can still see the resemblance especially how the lights get turned off in the hospital. The dramatic accidents are very similar to those in RDTK because they have a similar feel. D-Day is based on Disaster genre, so there is more of that there. And they both have light romance that develop slowly.

Malpractice issue.

Doctor being transferred to another hospital

Though D-Day focused on disaster that happened to Seoul, the operation and how doctors treat patients are similar.

Good medical teamwork.

Doctor suffering from illness. Great surgeon.

Both with great casts.

Medical dramas. Both about doctors who risk everything to save their patients despite opposition from others. Both feature surgery scenes too. Both doctors persevere against all opposition.

Both are really intense medical dramas. Both dramas have a similar feel to them as they both have similarities in them.

These two are what you call medical dramas in actual sense. No nonsense characters and unnecessary filler ep. What a doctor has to go through in extreme situations is well depicted here.

Em ambos há tragédia e o amor floresce em meio ao caos, a lita ei sacrifício para sobreviver. O conceito médico também está presente em ambos, perdas...

Similarities:
1. Both have an ER theme.
2. Both doctors help patients in extreme conditions.
3. In both, the hospital administration doesn't like them.
4. In both dramas, the ML is super good at his job ( TTCHOC ML is top-level).

Difference:
1. There are a lot of scenarios in TTC, unlike DD, which has a whole earthquake scene.
2. In TTC, there is no romance.
3. The ML in TTC have support from the government.

If you like the adrenaline rush from DD, you will love TTC and vice versa. The major difference is that there is no romance in TTC; you will not feel the need for it because it is very fast-paced and has a super charismatic ML.

Doctors and Rescue Team save peoples from natural disasters. Deal with hospital politics. Female Lead helps Male Lead in all way

- overall feeling
- both have firefighters and paramedics as main characters
(but the MLs are different: First Responders - detective, D-Day - doctor)
- both deal with life-threatening accidents / disaster
- both have subtle romance

both are jtbc dramas, means are of a certain quality. one is about a microorganism ending the world, one is about a big earthquake hitting seoul so they have a similar genre and both are good.
