The girls are so great! Park Bo Young's acting is just perfect, she slips from one character to the other so well, it's really believable and Kim Seul Gi is so adorable and funny.
I loved the kitchen brigade's dynamic, they could really bring some light fun in the drama.
Lee Jung Eun is also quite amazing and funny.
The plot is clearly a dangerous one, it could have gone wrong at pretty much any moment.
Particularly with the main characters' romance part, figuring out which girl he was falling for, but it managed to stay afloat, and the way they closed it still makes sense.
The suspense part fell a bit flat for me, as I found it a bit too evident.
I just hate that kind of ending which I find rather cliché and boring for the main characters. However, I quite like how they choose to end on the sister's side.

The execution could have been better
My reaction- The first 8 episodes felt like filler episodes
- In the first half of the drama I could see when Bong Sun was possessed... the actress made it really believable. But then for some reason in the second half I couldn't distinguish between her and the ghost. I think they should have put flashes of Soon Ae whenever Bong Sun was possesssed so we could know for sure who's who.
- I know it's part of tge culture, but I hated evey time the sous chef or the chef would hit their coworkers.
- Bong Sun was sooooo annoying in the first episodes. I couldn't stand her. You can be shy and still act like an adult.
- Bong Sun's back story could have been more addressed.

Almost Forgot About This Show
I can't believe I forgot to write a review right when I was done watching it. I'm now on the last episode of another show so I don't have much of a review.I recall FL being super annoying because she just has NO backbone and 2FL being super annoying because she's just selfish. In retrospect, she's still a child. She's a child who died a child and just wanted to live again. Which makes it sad and less annoying.
The chemistry wasn't amazing between ML and FL but such is the characters they were written. Overall it's an alright little drama. I'm not sure I'd rewatch it. Maybe if years passed and I was looking for something familiar.

The show starts out with talking about ghosts, but the story as so much to say about living life to the fullest and I love that so much about the story. The show, at times, brought me so much laughter, and at other times, moved me to tears.
Park Bo Young and Jo Jung Seok have such sizzling chemistry, bringing to life a script that is already hilarious, moving and overall compelling. Kim Seul Gi brought such delight as the spunky and forward ghost. She was hilarious but also played the emotional moments of her character very well. The three leads really made the show that much more excellent.
I do wish we got more insight into the character of Sung-jae, played by Im Joo Hwan, who also did a great job with his role and gave a really moving and compelling performance. Really hope to see him in more lead roles.
The soundtrack is pretty short but the few songs it had were meaningful and catchy. Quality over quantity!
The story could have been improved in some aspects, as well as the ending and resolution of the central conflict, but I found myself really moved by the show and the growth of the characters, and so I still highly recommend this for a fun and emotionally moving watch.

My rating is a 6.5 because, while the story was interesting it wasn't really a genre/topic I found interesting to watch in regards to fiction. What really kept me watching this drama was how good the acting was, which therefore made the drama more appealing. I didn't find it to be a waste of time, so I would definitely give it a try if you find the synopsis interesting.

The story was simple but entertaining and exciting. I kinda figure out the mystery after watching a few episodes but that doesn't eliminate the excitement I felt while watching the story unfolds itself. The romance was light and sweet, sometimes even funny. This story has one of the most complicated love triangles out there. I was totally rooting for the couple that didn't end up together. Well I should have known that it was impossible from the start but I can't help but root for them. The character development was well done for every character especially Bong Sun. It was nice to see her evolve. I hated her personality from the beginning but as the drama ends, the hatred turn into dislike. (I just can't like soft heroines... ugh!)
As for the acting, they all did a very good job but I had to mention two actors who did very well- the actress who played BongSun and the actor who played Officer Choi. Watch the drama and you'll know what I mean.
The music didn't really carved into my mind, except for those suspense scenes.
Overall, I enjoyed this drama. If I could change something about it, I just hope that Soon Ae, the ghost girl had the same ending as Takuto from Full Moon wo Sagashite (I don't want to spoil anything about the manga/anime.. but yeah... people who watch it will understand).

You'll Laugh, You'll Cry, You'll Fall in Love with "Oh, My Ghost!"
Oh My Ghost! has a great premise of a young, shy, timid girl (Bong-Sun) who can see and even communicate with ghosts. Petrified and "harassed," she finds herself constantly tired due to lack of sleep and doing her best to avoid these pesky spirits! She even goes so far as to cover the walls of her tiny apartment in talismans and anything else that might keep the spirits away.Enter Soon-Ae, a ghost who spends much of her time eluding the local shaman (Seobingo), who can not only see and interact with spirits, but she can catch them too!
Bong-Sun works at a restaurant under a nationally recognized chef who is constantly scolding her for her lack of attention, lack of energy, and most importantly, her lack of confidence. Constantly apologizing, she drives Chef Kang crazy, as well as her co-workers.
Once again, after being chased by Seobingo, Soon-Ae takes possession of Bong-Sun, and this is where the fun begins! Through the sudden habitation of Soon-Ae, Bong-Sun's personality is altered. She's confident, not shy at all, and even demonstrates innate cooking abilities, much to the shock and surprise of Chef Kang and his fellow cooks.
Of course, the series is about how Bong-Sun and Chef Kang will come together, as he's completely caught off-guard by her sudden forwardness and flirtations.
The series is a complete delight! I can't say enough about Bo-Young Park's performance. She's able to switch personalities of Bong-Su and being possessed by Soon-Ae with all of the deftness of a master at her craft. The beauty of this is that Park is equally charming in both "roles." She is so cute and adorable, that you love her in either part. Her charm is what drives the series.
Of course, there is also a mystery to be solved regarding Soon-Ae and how and why she died. Her story is just as interesting and intriguing as Bong-Sun's. In fact, it can be noted that her story is touching as well as tragic. So much so, that you may find it hard to choke back a few tears. Seul-Gi Kim does a magnificent job in this role.
The series is a perfect balance and blend of drama, comedy, suspense, and romance. The four cooks who work under Kang are a perfect fit when a laugh is needed. They are hilarious and they work off each other so wonderfully. The entire cast is to be commended.
There really isn't anything contrived at all in this series. The plot flows smoothly without anything feeling forced. I've seen too many plots where the writers and the director loses sight of the story and feels that they have to come up with something that is scarcely believable or plausible.
Oh My Ghost! is a terrific series that you may have a hard time stopping after watching just one episode. You'll find yourself laughing a lot, shedding a few tears, and cheering in the end for Bong-Sun and Soon-Ae. Both of them realize that the key to Life is to Love. Because without it, Life is pretty dismal, whether you're alive or a ghost!

If you've ever watched a drama with Kim Seul Gi you'll know that she's just absolutely great but this drama was her ultimate masterpiece.
In short the truth is that this drama is special, it's different. It doesn't have your usual k-drama stuff, the plot is not easy to guess and the actors did a fantastic job. All in all, this is a drama I'd suggest to people and say "With this you will laugh with the characters, you will feel what they feel, you'll be curious to see what happens next all the time but you'll feel different at the end."
If you were looking for something different to watch, you've found it.

The thing about Obsessive Behavior haunting your afterlife
Okay, so we have a horny ghost who died a virgin nymphomaniac.. who posesses a timid and mousy girl to get her shakes on....If not for the rapey character of the ghost being the literal plot here. I would not have finished watching. Because poor ML is sexually harassed and violated more than once. Zero respect for personal boundaries. But then again, disregard any own personal feelings here because the entire plotline is based on the fact that a ghost needs to loose her virginity to move on (or something) ... the rapey scenes where the ghost tries (and fails) to seduce the male lead, to me are just too creepy, but they are being portrayed as funny with glee mus8c and we are supposed to take them as a joke... I didn't laugh, but instead took it with a pinch of salt. The acting is great and yes, I admit the story is interesting. I will recommend it if you have nothing better to do and like to watch girls, sorry, ghosts being all rapey on men and getting away with it.... Now that I've seen it. I won't watch it again.

This was beyond Great I had to watch more than twice
Really I enjoyed this drama, the acting of Park bo young, Jo Jung Suk, Lim Jun Hwan and even Shin Hye Sun. You will see how all the cast started their acti bff career this well, and it’s just reminds you of how hard you should work and how hard you can work then you will make it. seeing all of them at their young age acting was really great.Back to the film, I enjoyed the storyline and character development. but I did not like the fact that the ghost got to spend more time in bong sun body even when she knew she could leave and was not trapped especially after the 1st time.
she kept staying in the body and even bong sun herself could not even after time to be with chef. chef and soon ae as a ghost had more time together making the confusion to be more serious as to which he likes.
it was manageable that there was already a small sign that chef cared for bong sun already from the start, seeing the way he spoke to her and the fact that she reminded him of his past, also with the blog thing.
but I was really pissed at the fact that soon ae was always inside her body leaving at night, and not even giving bong sun a chance to express her own feelings outrightly.
that’s on one side
the other part that was not for me is the fact that, it was clear that there was something more fishy about her regret, the fact that she could not remember is enough for her to know that she could have been killed and not even suicide.
I did not enjoy the fact that she was more focused on sleeping with chef every time, it was clearly cute to watch honestly, but NAHH, it even made Bong sun looked weird. the ghost soon as would have tried taking things naturally, instead of just jumping at him saying he wants to sleep with him.
As for Chef realising his feelings, I wasn’t pleased with it. Although it was clearly shown from the start that he was never comfortable with bong sun action when the ghost was in her and he was more comfortable and relaxed with bong sun herself. it wasn’t that deep for him to get confused.
and finally, no matter what, they shouldn’t have let Chef kiss the ghost, it was not necessary for it to have gone that deep, whatever kissing or skinship should have been done with bong sun alone in her right mind.
that’s it for me
the casting, acting and even cameo was really great.
I have watched it twice and I could watch it again and again and I will recommend it for everyone to watch
also, I love the ending for the villain, it was good, because clearly those actions were that of the ghost in him and not his actions. I liked the fact that they made him lose his memory, and it will be possible for him to start afresh with eun hee

AMAZING CHEMISTRY !CUTEST ROM COM.MUST SEE FOR THE ACTORS
MUST WATCH.ENJOYABLE DRAMA FOR SURE.ATLEAST NEED TO WATCH IT FOR CUTEST CHEMISTRY IN K DRAMA HISTORY.I am impressed with this soo natural and well scripted drama. Lead Actors are fabulous.
Jo Jung Suk(ML) is not only handsome ,He has gorgeous eyes and his acting is so natural/lovable.
Both female leads acted very well. Particularly Park Bo Young nailed her character and transformation acting.
Not only main leads ,all the supporting characters are so lovable and natural.
Particularly shaman and villian both did amazing job.
This will be added to my re watch list for sure for the CUTEST romance scens.
Screenplay didnt lagged anywhere. placement of the comedy scene at the end episodes affected little bit suspense and thrille.I felt Ending kind of same as "Cofee prince" but i didnt bothered by that
